The scope of work includes basic planning, plant designing, hydraulic, mechanical

Sewage Treatment Plant (STP)
Preface:-
The proposed sewage treatment plant is based on MBBR Technology; having capacity of 125
KLD It is an compact treatment process of STP and is chosen due to its high quality output
water and its small foot print, low maintenance, and minimum operation coast. Water
engineering offered to treat the sewage and reuse the treated water for horticulture for
environmental concern. Proposed treatment has capacity of BOD removal efficiency at 95-
99% which will ensure the treated sewage for BOD at less than 10 mg/ltr and TSS less than
10 mg/ltr
The Sewage is screened and is transferred to Oil and Grease removal unit for the removal of
oil from the sewage. Further it will flow to equalization tank to equalized the incoming
sewage.
Further the sewage will be taken to the MBBR tank, designed on the basis of MBBR technology
With a secondary settling tank. The sludge will be partially recycled to have MLVSS at 3000-
4000 mg/l and for F/m ratio of 0.03 to 0.5 Kg BOD/Kg MLSS/Day so that BOD5 and TSS
removal efficiencies will be 95-99% and 80-90% respectively
The clarified sewage will be disinfected by chlorination so as to ensure complete killing of
pathogenic microorganisms. Further it will pass through a set of Pressure Sand Filtration unit
and Activated Carbon filter to ensure reduction of TSS and have better quality treated sewage.

for various purpose.
The proposed Sewage treatment plant is designed to have a high-rate aerobic biological
treatment process, namely, MBBR process followed by Disinfection to ensure pathogens-free
treated sewage, which can be readily used for irrigation or any other suitable purpose. Unit
operations are designed to achieve stage or step wise removal of Solids and organics.

UNIT OPERATON:-
PRIMARY TREATMENT:-
Primary treatment Unit consists of following: Screening, Oil & Grease removal and Collection-
Cum Equalization.
We have proposed Bar Screen cum Oil & Grease trap before collection cum equalization tank.
The air will be provided to equalize the sewage properly. Diffused aeration system with
coarse bubble nonclog diffusers or perforated PVC pipe lateral is proposed to equalize the
sewage in the Equalization tank.
SECONDARY TREATMENT:-
Secondary treatment consists of following: MBBR tanks, settling tank, Chlorine contact tank
and Sludge holding tank.
The biological treatment shall be in the presence of aeration system. Diffused aeration system
with fine bubble Non-Clog diffuser is proposed for biological oxidation of Sewage/Sludge in
the tanks for easy maintenance & energy conservation.
The settling of treated sewage shall be in the presence of settling media in hopper bottom
settling tank. The clear water from settling tank will be taken to the clear water tank/filter
feed tank. Here the disinfection of bacteria will be done with the help of Hypo-Chlorine dosing.
The sludge generated can be further can be dewatered through sludge drying bed or filter
press.

TERTIARY TREATMENT:-
In Tertiary treatment the Dis-Infected water will be pump through Multi Grade Filter (MGF)
and Activated Carbon Filter (ACF).The outlet of ACF can be used for gardening, irrigation and
other purpose.
SLUDGE DISPOSAL:-
The sludge generated at bottom of hopper type settling tank will be send to sludge holding
tank through pump. By this pump partial sludge will be recycled to MBBR reactor. Further
this sludge can be dewatered through sludge drying bed. Dry Sludge can be reused for green
belt.
CONTROL PHILOSPHY:-
The STP has been provided with necessary interlocks and control at all levels which will be
monitored and controlled by control panel. The tanks will be provided with water level
controllers, where ever required, connected to respective Pumps for auto operation.
The tertiary treatment system runs in manual mode. Necessary pressure indicators are
provided at different points for trouble free operation of plant. Adequate safety and control
features have been provided at different stages to have a trouble-free operation.
We have also provided different by pass system at different stages for any emergency
situation. The primary treatment operates in auto mode through level controller and ensures
a smooth flow of sewage into the secondary Treatment system. Drain and sampling point have
been provided in the system to take care of process stabilization and monitoring as required
from time to time.

EXCLUSIONS FROM SUPPLIER’S SCOPE:-
• Design & construction of civil tanks & preparation of RCC structural drawings, civil BOQ
etc.
• All civil works including grading / levelling of site foundations, pipe and underground cable
trenches, grouting, platforms, pipe supports, inserts, puddle pipes, structural supports for air
grids & pipes.
• Unloading and Safe storage of equipment supplied by us, at your site. Unskilled labour for
shifting of material.
• Construction of approach roads with fencing & weather protection shed for Distribution board,
blowers, pumps, electrical motors etc., etc.
• Utilities at site. e. g. Water, Chemicals, Electricity etc.
• Supply of all types of laboratory equipment or its test reports from any 3rd party, during & after
commissioning.
• Emergency power supply and plant illumination system.
• All piping, cabling etc. beyond the termination points as mentioned in our offer.
• Firefighting system including appliances.
• Lightening protection.
• Manpower for operation & maintenance of the plant.
• Any other work not specifically mentioned in the offer.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS’

3. Freight and unloading: client scope.
4. Delivery: Delivery of equipment shall be made within 30 DAYS after receiving
your official/firm order
5. Payment terms:
• 50% Advance along with PO, 30 % Against PI before delivery, 10 %
against installation, 10% against testing and commissioning.
6. Inspection: inspection can be carried out at our work. All expenses toward
the visit of customer or customer’s nominated inspector shall be borne by
customer.
7. Validity: our offer shall remain valid for a period of 30 days from the date of
quotation.
General Terms: -
• The erection and commissioning is the subject to site reediness and
Availability of raw Water
Completion Period:
Supplies: The Electromechanical equipment/components required for the
system shall be supplied within 4 to 5 weeks from the date of receipt of
PO/LOI and advance payment.
Erection & Commissioning: The Erection and commissioning is subject to
site readiness and availability of raw sewage.
Force Majeure: Delays in delivery, if any, on account of strikes, lockouts,
Unforeseen interruptions or government intervention and due to weather will

qualify under Force Majeure conditions and will not lead to any financial
repercussions on the seller.
Validity: The offer shall be valid for 30 days from the date of the covering
letter or mail.
