Q1.Imagine you are in 1916, just before the start of World War I. You have the chance to
speak with world leaders and convince them not to wage war. Write a 200–250-word
speech outlining your argument against war and encouraging them to choose a different
path.
Q2.Complete the project taking ideas from the guidelines given below. It has to be made
on A4 sized sheets and to be enclosed in a beautiful file.

The Project can be inter-disciplinary in theme. The students must take any one of the

techniques given below as a methodology of project work.

a) Interview-Based Research:

Students can choose a topic and conduct interviews with a few neighbours/
friends/acquaintances etc. on the topic. For that the student will frame questions based on
the preliminary research/background and then he will write an essay/ write up / report etc.
up to 1000 words on his/her research and submit it.
b) Audio/ Video based Research:

Students can listen to podcasts/ interviews/radio or TV documentary on a topic and


prepare a report countering or agreeing with the speakers. Write an 800 - 1000 words
report and submit.

The ideas/issues highlighted in the chapters/ poems/ drama given in the prescribed books
can be developed in the form of a project with the suggestive sub topic given below.

Kindly refer to Project guidelines and the Parameters of Assessment while making the
project.

You may work in group of four.

MATHEMATICS
MATRICES AND DETERMINANTS
Do lab activities in the Maths Lab File. Lab Activities are posted in class group.

*NOTE: Date of Submission: By the first week of July and will be marked as
part of internal assessment.

CHEMISTRY
● Students are required to submit holiday home work in the form of a
Project file on any relevant topic of chemistry as per CBSE.
● Complete the practical file as discussed in class.
● Do NCERT exercise question of Ch- 1,2 & 3 in notebook.
● Practice objective assignments provided in class.

PAINTING
Draw & colour in two still life and two composition these are examples:
PHYSICS
● As per the instructions given in class, each child has to prepare one
investigatory project.
● Complete the practical file as per class discussion.(list of experiments is shared in
class group)

1. All experiments to be written in the practical file.
2. Prepare an investigatory project on any topic of your interest related to
BIOLOGY but do get it approved by your teacher. The format will be
discussed in the group.This is a part of your board practical schedule.
3. The project should be hand written with a case file attached to it.
4. The given assignments to be done in the Biology notebook.

Prepare the project on any one game of your choice out of Athletics, Basketball, Football,
Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Volleyball, Handball, Hockey, Cricket.

The project has to be written based on following guidelines: -

● Draw the diagram of court/field of related game

● Specifications of the playfield and sports equipment

● Latest general rules of the game

● Fundamental skills of the game

● Terminology

● Important tournaments of related game

● Famous Sports Personalities

2. PRACTICAL: Fitness Test administration (SAI Khelo -India Test)

3. PRACTICAL: Procedure for Asanas, Benefits & Contradictions for any two asanas
for each lifestyle disease.
