• Inflammation of the eye is characterized by redness, watering, and itching.

4. FIRST AID MEASURES

Eyes : Remove contact lenses if applicable. Flush with plenty of water or


eye wash solution for 15 minutes.
Skin : Remove contaminated clothing. Wash with soap and flush with
plenty of water. Cover affected skin with an emollient.
Ingestion : Drink water or milk to dilute and contact poison control center or
seek medical attention immediately.
Inhalation : Avoid gross inhalation of fumes. Remove to fresh air
Serious Inhalation : Evacuate the victim to a safe area as soon as possible. Loosen
tight clothing such as a collar, tie, belt or waistband. If breathing
is difficult, administer oxygen. If the victim is not breathing,
perform mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.
