s/s) as per the drawing provided and after all the approvals are available. In case of any
bottleneck at site, the pit shall be excavated on those locations where all permission,
approvals and fronts are available. However, pits shall be excavated serially instead of
carrying out at random locations,
 Frequently check the dimensions/ levels of excavation to avoid over cutting as work
proceeds.
 As per NFXP3-TRSA-SH-PRC-00044 since excavation is deeper than 1m., confined
space procedure will be implemented through providing proper and safe shoring/access
to reach inside the excavation & fixed means of egress as well accordingly.
 Whenever personnel will be in an excavation, ramps, stairways or ladders should be
kept within 6 meters of workers for all excavations over 1.0 meter deep. Ladders must
extend a minimum of 1 meter above the top of the excavation.

subjected to asset owner approval, and it shall be included in the task description on
the eCPW.
 Excavated Material shall be put 1.5m the depth of excavation away from the edge of the
excavation.
 In order to avoid 2 times same manual excavation, plan is kept them open (properly
barricaded, signaled and lighted), until “Excavation on Crossing Locations “being
carried out as per the sequence of this scope of work. In case it would not be allowed,
temporary backfill with same excavated material will be done.
Note: If any unforeseen situation arises during work execution which require additional
safety precautions other than mentioned in MS/JS, the requirements will be handwritten
in the MS/JSA at site duly signed by COMPANY/CTR/SCTR Construction and SHES.
The work will resume after implementing additional requirement and the MS/JSA will be
