PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Micron 300 is an antifouling product effective against fouling organisms; slime, aquatic plants and animals. A Premium Polishing Antifouling suitable for
professional and consumer application onto vessels in fresh and salt water. The polishing system provides up to 2 years performance, avoiding paint build up.
The eversmoothing surface ensures that drag is always minimised whilst maintaining optimum biocide release including in stationary periods. Can be applied up
to 12 months before launch.

In all schemes, apply an extra stripe coat in areas of high wear such as chines, rudders, sterngear and
any leading edges.
Coverage By Brush/Roller:
(Theoretical) 10 m²/L per coat
(Practical) 9 m²/L per coat
Some Important Points To prevent premature failure, ensure the correct amount of paint is applied using the coverage as a guide. Product
temperature should be minimum 5°C/41°F and maximum 35°C/95°F. Ambient temperature should be minimum 5°C/41°F and
maximum 35°C/95°F. Substrate temperature should be minimum 3°C/37.4°F above dew point and maximum 35°C/95°F.
Compatibility/Substrates For use over suitably primed GRP, Wood, Steel/Iron and lead. Not suitable for use over Aluminium/Alloy substrates or
Micron 300 zincsprayed surfaces. Can be applied direct over most types of antifoulings, provided they are in sound condition, with
the exception of VC17m/PTFE antifoulings. Consult your local International Paint representative for specific overcoating
Antifouling advice if you are unsure about compatibility of Micron 300 over your existing coating scheme.

TRANSPORTATION:
This product should be kept in securely closed containers during transport and storage.
Safety GENERAL:
Contains biocides.
Antifoulings should only be wet sanded. Never dry sand or burnoff old antifoulings. Read the label safety section for
Health and Safety Information, also available from our Technical Help Line.
DISPOSAL:
Do not discard tins or pour paint into water courses, use the facilities provided. It is best to allow paints to harden before
disposal.
Remainders of this product cannot be disposed of through the municipal waste route or dumped without permit. Disposal
of remainders must be arranged for in consultation with the authorities.
