When the symbol underneath the Child lock lights up while spinning a small
cushion/pillow on the Samsung WA70H4000SG washing machine, it means that the
Child Lock function is activated. To deactivate the Child Lock function, press and hold
both the Rinse and Spin buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. Once deactivated, the
symbol will turn off.

To reset and start the Samsung WA70H4000SG washer again if it is not starting and
displaying [--], you can follow these steps:
1. Check if the power is cut off. Ensure that the electric voltage is normal.
2. Make sure the washer is plugged in. If not, plug in the electric cord.
3. Verify if the drain hose is down. Put the drain hose down if it is not.
4. Unfold the drain hose if it is folded.
5. Remove any clogs from the drain hose outlet to ensure proper drainage.
6. Close the washer lid if it is open.
7. Press the Start/Pause button one more time to check if the washer starts.
8. Ensure that enough water is filled to the water level. If the water pressure is low, it may
take a longer time to start washing.
9. Open the faucet to supply water if it is closed.
10. If you opened the door during the spinning cycle, close the door and press the
Start/Pause button to resume.
11. If the drain hose and spin basket are frozen, follow these steps:
- Add hot water to the frozen water tap and remove the drain hose. Soak it in hot water.
- Pour hot water into the spin basket for about 10 minutes.
- Put a hot water towel on the drain hose connector.
- If the drain hose defrosts, connect it again and check for proper water draining.
12. If the water drains out immediately, it may indicate a clog. Half-fill the spin basket
with water and try spinning again.
13. Check if the water leaks at the water supply hose connector. Ensure that the faucet
connecting part is tight and the rubber packing of the water supply hose is in the right
position.
14. Unfold the water supply hose if it is folded.
15. If the water supply is too strong, close the faucet slightly.
16. If water is leaking from the faucet itself, fix the faucet.
17. Check if the Start/Pause button is pressed after selecting the water supply. If not,
press the Start/Pause button.
18. Turn on the faucet if it is closed.
19. Clean the filter net at the water supply hose connector if it is clogged with dirty
matters. Use a toothbrush to brush it clean.
20. If the water supply is suspended, turn off the faucet and power off the washer.
21. Check if the laundry is spread evenly in the washer. Spread out the laundry evenly
and start again.
22. Ensure that the washing machine is leveled on a sturdy flat floor. Adjust the legs on
the feet for leveling if needed.
23. Remove any unnecessary items from around the washing machine.
