    Pulau Langkawi is one of the most famous tourist attraction in Malaysia.

    It is surrounded by a cluster
    of small islands and is situated in the north-western part of Peninsula Malaysia. The island has been
    shinned with sunlight throughout the year.

    Pulau Langkawi has breath taking and stunning beaches. One of the famous beaches is Pantai Deluk
    Dantai. Tourists can enjoy the soothing sound of waves and gently breezes along the white sandy beach
    lined with coconut trees. Apart from that, the beach is always filling with laughter and joys of children.
    Besides that, the beach also provides variety of water sport activities such as snorkelling, windsurfing
    and scuba-diving.

    Another popular feature of Pulau Langkawi are the night markets. It is common to see crowds of
    people to move from stall to stall at the night markets. Very often at night, the whole area will be
    surrounded by colourful and bright lights which gives it a festive atmosphere. Shoppers will be amazed
    to find variety of blouses, T-shirts, dresses, skirts, jeans and shorts that are arranged and displayed in
    the stalls. Housewives will have their wonderful time bargaining for better prices with vegetable store
    owners or butchers.

    For those who are adventurous and nature-loving, the island is well-equipped with facilities and well
    laid out trails for jungle-trekking. Visitors can enjoy nature away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
    Food courts and restaurants are found not very far from the night markets. Most restaurant and food
    courts offer a wide choice of dining options, ranging from steaming Chinese dishes to hot and spicy Thai
    and Malay food.

    For city persons who have to put up with the hassles life such as traffic jam, noise and crowds, Pulau
    Langkawi is undoubtedly the ideal place to have a rest and a great holiday.
