first? A: There are a few things that need to be done in order. You'll want to create your
Amazon Seller account first and start the new listing. This may give you a heads up if there
are any restrictions you need to deal with. It'll also give you the FNSKU label that you'll need
to put on each unit. Once your supplier has completed manufacturing your product, they'll
be able to provide you with the shipment details such as the total number of cartons, units
per carton, size and weight of each carton and unit, etc, that you'll need to complete the
shipping plan in Seller Central. Once you complete the shipping plan, you'll be able to
generate the shipping labels that you can then email to your supplier to put on the cartons.

10) What is the safest way to pay my supplier?
A: To maximize your protection, you can pay through Alibaba using their Trade Assurance
system but make sure everything regarding the transaction is recorded on the system as far
as all details or changes to the product and what you're expecting to receive, the extent of
responsibility of the supplier, etc. Use a credit card along with Trade Assurance will give you
double protection as you have your credit card company as a backup. If you use Paypal,
never send your payment as "Friends and Family", there is no protection with that option.
Again, pay with a credit card through Paypal so you have double protection. Record the
details of what has been agreed upon with your supplier into the notes for the transaction. I
don't recommend ever paying by wire transfer (TT) unless you've already built a working

11) What is a hijacker? A: A hijacker is someone listing their product


that is similar but not exactly the same as yours under your listing, such as it doesn't have
your private label logo/ brand on their product. You can have them removed from your
listing in this case by sending a cease and desist letter and/or contacting Seller Support. Do
both. If the product they listed on your listing is actually your own product, then they are
not a true hijacker. They most likely bought one of your units with a coupon and they are
flipping it for a profit. In this case, there's nothing you can do about it. You can’t have them

play a role in ranking, someone has to searchyou’re your keywords. If someone directly
visits your listing by a URL, then they didn't search anything so there's no way to attach any
keywords to the sale conversion. If someone searches "garlic press", finds your listing and
buys your product, only then does the Amazon algorithm know that "garlic press" turned

A: No, it’s not a requirement to register your brand or trademark in order to sell on Amazon.
However, by registering, you’re able to access Enhanced Brand Registry on Amazon which

need some assessment help. Today is the 8th day my product became active and I started running
PPC ad from the first day. My product’s price is $21.99 and my competitors’ price is from about $12
to $25. Good products are in the range between $19 to $25. I came to know that Amazon’s suggested
bid is not for Top-of-Search but rather for Product Page. On the first two days, all my bid was
slightly higher than Amazon’s highest suggested bid for my keywords. I got 19 clicks for 17k
impressions on the first day and 15 clicks for 20k impressions at about $1.00 CPC with only one sell.
I found that all the impressions were from Product Page and none of them from Top-of-Search page.
So, before the 3rd day, I set all the bids to $0.3 with 600% Top-of-Search and 0% Product Page
placement adjustment (dynamic up & down this time). On the 3rd day, I got 12 clicks for 3k
impressions at $2.84 CPC and on the 4th day I got 24 clicks for 2.4k impressions at $1.88 CPC with
only 2 sell after slight adjustments. As you can see, the CTR dramatically increased. I saw that the
bid for Top-of-Search is more than $3 for most of the keywords and more than $4.5 for competitive
keywords. By seeing this, many questions came to my mind. Like:
-> Why Top-of-Search bid is so high for such a low price niche?
-> At this price, how much should be the conversion rate?
-> How those bad products wining the Top-of-Search bid making profits?
-> Is it something like making a huge investment to get the keywords organically ranked and then
wish for profits?
Though the CPC is high, I personally think that my conversion is very low with only 3 sell ($65.97)
with PPC and 1 organic sell in the last 7 days. I think the causes might be:
-> No rating/review.
-> The price of my product might be high.
-> Very bad listing quality.
-> My product is not better than my competitors.
It is a competitive niche but my product is unique though it is a private labeled generic product. It is
not very available on Amazon. Some of the similar products are rising with good sell at very low
reviews. My product photos and video are unique and made professionally but I used some photos
supplied by the supplier in A+ content. I already enrolled for Vine for 30 products but Vine review
will take some time. Only 9 products claimed till now. I think I will try reducing the price a bit more.

worth taking your time, but still, I hope to get your attention and suggestions and to look at my

I don’t know if there’s any amazon specific influencer hiring platform , though we are working on
such a SAAS tool.
But what you can do is -
1. Find your niche specific influencer either in YouTube if social media or other channels.
2. Offer discount for his / her followers
3. Make a landing page to track
4. Negotiations with the influencers
5. Test which worked best for you
6. Repeat

This is my first post here... So, at first I would like to thank MD Ahsan Habib vai and the Area 71
team for their generous effort to teach and expand the Amazon FBA business for Bangladeshis.
I am a freelance engineer (mechanical) at UpWork and about to start Amazon FBA. Currently I am
now in the following state:
-> Amazon USA account created.
-> Product researched and one was chosen.
-> Supplier chosen from China, 500 piece manufactured and shipped.
-> My brand name and logo chosen. Applied to USPTO. Got Amazon Brand Registry.
-> Listing made. A+ content made. Product photos and one video made professionally.
-> All PPC drafts prepared and saved.
-> Today, my shipment just reached Amazon warehouse. Check the following photos.
-> Now my listing become live and available for sell but it is not yet prime eligible. The shipment is
now at "Receiving" status. Check the following photos.
Now, my questions are:
-> When is the good time to start the PPC ad? Now? Or should I wait till the "Shipment Closing"
status to get the prime eligible units to sell?
-> When should I start the Vine program? Now?
-> Currently it seems like Vine enrollment required $200 per product. Is this correct?
-> Anything else I am missing? Is it required to hire any influencers?
(Note that selecting a New York address, it says to be delivered within 30/08/2023.)
