technologies in immunology, microbiology, biochemistry
and molecular biology. Students learn to diagnose disease;
investigate the impact of specific pathologies at the
molecular, cellular or organ level; and identify, prevent and
treat infections, as well as limit their impact on society.
Students also gain firsthand experience with a range of
blood and tissue testing approaches and biomolecular
sensing techniques – skills that are in high demand in the
pathology laboratory sector.
