BATTERIES
The Cube battery pack is a 3.7V 10 Ah pack with built-in safety features. Under normal operating
conditions the trap can remain in standby for in excess of 1 year on a full charge
A fully charged pack gives approximately 10 hours of recording time.
To charge the pack, remove from the Cube by pulling firmly upwards. The pack is held in by magnets.
A USB C socket is located in the recess at the top of the battery pack. A charge indicator LED is situated
next to the socket. Plug in a good quality USB C charging cable and connect to a USB charger, most will
work.
The LED will remain red until battery is fully charged when it will turn green.
The voltage readout on trap display will show 4.1 - 4.2V when fully charged.
The camera may stop working once the voltage drops below 3.4 V
AUDIO
Some cubes are fitted with an external microphone socket. This socket is O-ring sealed when a mic is
fitted. If no mic is fitted, ensure rubber sealing cap is inserted to maintain seal.
The ETM001 mic supplied by Meta films is very sensitive - adjust audio input level on camera
accordingly.
EXTERNAL FILTERS
The front of the Cube housing has 37mm screw thread to allow the fitting of filters.
This camera has a fixed F4 aperture therefore auto ISO is the main method of controlling exposure.
We recommend the URTH variable ND 2-400 to control exposure range, particularly if shooting S-LOG
2 in bright conditions as this has a minimum ISO value of 1000.
