Filipino Villager 1: (defiantly) We do not follow the Catholic beliefs. Why are we being forced to join this
event?
Spanish Official 2: (authoritatively) (Se trata de una orden directa de las autoridades españolas!!!!)
Disobedience will not be accepted. Your loyalty to the crown must be shown by participating in the
procession.
Filipino Villager 2: (frustrated) This imposition goes against our own cultural beliefs and practices. Meron
kaming karapatan magkaroon ng kalayaang sumamba ayon sa gusto naming at hindi pinipilit na
sumunod sa mga tradisyon ng Espanyol.
Spanish Official 3: (menacingly) Your cultural practices are not as important as the regulations set by the
Spanish government. If you fail to adhere to them, you will face fines, imprisonment, or even more
severe consequences. It is in your best interest to follow our directives unquestionably.
Filipino Villager 3: (incensed) We will not allow ourselves to be silenced or oppressed by your
authoritarian rule! We insist on the freedom to practice our own beliefs and customs without fearing
reprisal from foreign powers.
Filipino Villager 4: (defiantly) We will oppose your efforts to erase our cultural heritage and suppress our
identity. The resilience of our forebears will guide us as we resist this despotism and assert our rights as
a community.
Spanish Official 4: (dismissive) Your protests and resistance are futile. The authority of the Spanish
crown will triumph, and you will need to comply with our rule. Your rebellion will only lead to further
penalties and hardships.
(THE SPANISH OFFICIAL GOT A FILIPINO CITIZEN TO KILL IN FRONT OF THEM TO GIVE AN EXAMPLE IF
THEY OPPOSED)

Filipino Villager 5: (determined) Despite being outnumbered and overpowered, our resolve and
persistence will not be easily extinguished. We will persist in resisting and fighting for our liberty,
regardless of the sacrifices.
Spanish Official 6: (authoritatively) Your opposition only reinforces our determination to maintain
control over this territory. We will not hesitate to use force to ensure adherence to our laws and
traditions.
Filipino Villager 6: (defiantly) We will not back down in the face of your intimidation and subjugation.
Our solidarity and perseverance will serve as our defense against your tyranny.
Spanish Official 7: (threateningly) Your uprising will be met with immediate and severe repercussions.
Any further defiance will be swiftly quashed. considérate advertido!!!!!
Filipino Villager 7: (determined) We will stand united in our struggle for liberty and self-government.
Peninsulares 2: In such places why is Indios so noisy and always spouting nonsense words?
Peninsulares 3: Well, we cannot blame them they have no education and they do not know the proper
