Business Focus: Video RAID Systems design, manufacture & distribution. Accomplishments: Led manufacturing, supply chain facilities, quality, and I/T functions. Contributions led to the acquisition of MEDEA Corporation by AVID Technology in February 2006. Facility subsequently relocated to Mountain View, CA in June, 2007. Developed and re-sourced contract manufacturing sources for PCBAs and product integration. Created 5S, ship-to-stock and JIT delivery processes, and reduced overall product cost by over 17%. Increased manufacturing units output by 15X (i.e. from $12 to $40 million annual shipments). Reorganized and retrained the entire operations and manufacturing organization. Business Focus: Communications semiconductor and module design, manufacture and distribution. Company spun-off from Rockwell in January 1999. Recruited as a supply chain consultant to restructure the multi-site, international supply chain organization.
