Introduction
The Vivekanand Education Society's Institute of Technology (VESIT) is committed to fostering
academic excellence and supporting the educational aspirations of deserving students. In pursuit of
this mission, we are delighted to present the Scholarship Report for the academic year 2021-2022.
Eligibility Criteria
To ensure that scholarships reach those who need them most, certain eligibility criteria have been
established. All students in the First Year (FE), Second Year (SE), Third Year (TE), Fourth Year
(BE), and Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programs, with a family income of less than 3
lakhs per annum, and a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 7.00 and above, are eligible to
apply for scholarships.
However, it is important to note that students receiving Full Tuition Fees waiver (TFWS / SC / ST /
NT / SBC) are not eligible for this Scholarship. The deadline for submitting completed scholarship
forms is 10th October 2020. Students are required to complete the VES Scholarship form online and

attach scanned copies of their mark sheets for the 10th, 12th, CET, and the semesters passed.
Additionally, an income certificate for the financial year 2020-21 should be provided.

Application Process
Students have to fill the VES Scholarship form online.
Scanned copies of Mark sheets of 10th, 12th , CET and the semesters passed should be attached
along with the income certificate ( for financial year 2020-21). Please contact the department

Scholarships offered

1. VES Scholarship:
The VES Scholarship is administered centrally for all VES colleges and forwarded to the
Tulsiani Trust. The primary criteria for this scholarship are a minimum score of 7.00 grade
and a family income of less than three lakhs per annum.

This scholarship is intended for students with a CGPA of at least 7.00 and a family income of
less than one lakh per annum. It provides financial assistance in the form of scholarships,
with each selected student receiving Rs. 15,000. Approximately 25-30 students from various
departments are awarded this scholarship every year.

One deserving student from each department is awarded the Vivekanand Jyoti Scholarship,
receiving an annual amount of Rs. 25,000. The criteria for this scholarship are a minimum
grade point of 7.00 and a family income of less than one lakh per annum.

Other Scholarships:
The same application form will be considered for other scholarships, including the Suman
Ramesh Tulsiani Trust Scholarship and the Jadavpur University Alumni Association
Scholarships. All students with a family income of less than 3 lakhs per annum are eligible
for these scholarships. A single application form can be submitted for all scholarships.
