THE

5 MISTAKES
TO AVOID WHEN
DISCOVERING
YOUR PURPOSE

‘S
WORKBOOK

designed by BRIAN HOAREAU

Sometimes,
knowing what not to do
to discover your purpose
is even more helpful
than knowing
what to do

Brian
Your purpose is that thing that gives you crazy energy in the
morning.
This is your reason to jump out of bed with a big smile.
This is your contribution to the world.

Now, get this: I recently read a study from the Global Purpose
Index that says 42% of adults in Western countries don't feel
connected to a significant purpose in life.
Mistake 1

Not Knowing yourself.

Most of people not used to

taking the time to observe
themselves, to question
themselves, to analyze their
past objectively, and to
envision their future serenely.

But, as Aristotle said, "Knowing

yourself is the beginning of all
wisdom." So, the more you
learn about yourself, the better
your chances of discovering
your purpose.

It’s action time...

1. On a scale of 1 to 10, how well do you think you know yourself?

2. Iintroduce
propose a game. Stand in front of a mirror, and for a few minutes,
yourself. Start with: "Hello, my name is (your name)..."
Then, present your 3 greatest qualities, 3 biggest flaws, 3 greatest
passions, and 3 top skills.
Mistake 2

Waiting for Perfection.

Some people often say, "When

my kids are in college" or "When
I've done this or that."

But guess what? The perfect

moment will never come. You
have to take the plunge and
dare, even if everything isn't
perfect.

So, stop making excuses for

pursuing your purpose. On the
contrary, transform your purpose
into reality.

It’s action time...

1. On a scale of 1 to 10, how often do you act without waiting for

everything to be perfect?

2. What is a project/task you want to accomplish but keep putting off

because all the conditions aren't perfectly aligned? Why not start it:

Now
Tomorrow
Blocked time :
Mistake 3
Staying in
Your Comfort Zone.
Remember this: to have a life
you haven't had yet, you must
do things you haven't done yet.

But then, how do you get out

of your comfort zone and
discover your purpose?

First, don't focus on the how

when you begin.

The ''HOW'' comes after. First,

focus on your ''WHY'', namely
your purpose.

It’s action time...

1. On a scale of 1 to 10, how often do you step out of your comfort zone?

2. It'sTo find
highly likely that your purpose lies outside your comfort zone.
and bring it to life, what uncomfortable action do you need
to take?
Mistake 4
Ignoring
Your Intuition.
Khalil Gibran said "Intuition is
the soul speaking."

But to hear it, you have to quiet

your mind and elevate your
vibrations.

That's why I really encourage you

to isolate yourself from the
material world, perhaps for a
few weeks if you're actively
searching for your purpose.
Move, exercise, eat healthily,
cultivate healthy thoughts.

It’s action time...

1. On a scale of 1 to 10, how often do you connect with your intuition?

2. In actively seeking your purpose, what can you start doing now to
connect with your intuition and let it guide you?
Mistake 5
Believing
It's Too Late.
Let me tell you Julia Child's
story. This woman was a
renowned American chef,
author of cookbooks, and
television personality.

She discovered her passion for

French cuisine at the age of 36
when she arrived in France with
her husband.

But it wasn't until she was 50,

after publishing her first
cookbook, that she became an
iconic figure in American
cuisine and culture.

It’s action time...

1. On a scale of 1 to 10, how much do you believe in this statement:

"It's too late to discover my purpose"?

2. Atdiscover
this stage, what could be your purpose? (no pressure) Then,
who has succeeded quite well in the sector where your
purpose lies, and who started at your age more or less.
At this stage, here's your situation...

You learn to know yourself.

You do not wait for everything to be perfect

to find your purpose.

You are ready to step out of your comfort zone

for this.

You are ready to connect to your intuition.

You know it’s not too late.

With a down-to-earth and

practical approach to spirituality
that fits into your modern life.
