Flight Crews must complete both Safety Inspection and Before Start Checklists in their entirety if
Engineering have performed any maintenance actions (with the exception of Weight Change) with
the aircraft during a turnaround or during a crew change.

NO ENGINE BLEED TAKEOFF 737-NG To calculate the crosswind component:
Enter the table below or OPT with the highest reported wind value (steady wind or gust). Use the
‘BEFORE TAXI - NO ENGINE BLEED’ CHECKLIST
angle between wind direction and runway heading to calculate the crosswind component.
Note: If anti–ice is required for taxi, complete Normal ‘Before Taxi’ procedure. Ex. Rwy 28, wind 250/20G35 = 18kts.
Leave APU running. Using the checklist below configure for a “No Engine Bleed Approach speed correction:
Takeoff” just prior to take–off. Half of the reported steady headwind component plus full gust.
Note: If anti–ice is not required for taxi, Complete the following ‘Before Taxi – No Note: The minimum command speed setting is VREF + 5kts. The maximum is VREF + 15kts or
Engine Bleed’ checklist instead of the normal ‘Before Taxi’ checklist. landing flap placard speed minus 5kts, whichever is lower.
