Question 1

The conceptian modela for the following application:


a. A 3D video game with steering wheels and tactile, auditory, and visual
feedback, like a racing game for cars: A 3D video game's conceptual model
is usually built around a game loop, which senses player input, updates the
game state, and renders the game world in three dimensions. Haptic input is
provided by the steering wheel and tactile feedback, and real-time rendering
of the auditory and visual feedback is dependent on the game state.
b. Audio and visual feedback: Multimedia design principles, which call for
synchronising audio and visual aspects to produce a seamless user
experience, serve as the foundation for the conceptual model of audio and
visual feedback. This can include employing visual effects to give feedback
and support user activities, as well as sound and music to increase the
emotional impact of a game or application.
c. Windows environments: The desktop metaphor, which entails arranging files
and programmes in a visual hierarchy that resembles a physical desktop,
serves as the conceptual basis for Windows environments. With windows
representing individual apps or documents and a taskbar offering rapid
access to regularly used programmes, this enables users to navigate and
manage their digital resources in a way that seems natural and
straightforward.
d. A web browser: The idea of hypertext, which entails non-linearly connecting
documents, serves as the conceptual foundation for a web browser. As a
result, users can explore the web by clicking links between pages, and the
browser offers a standardised user interface for handling bookmarks, history,
and other functions in addition to rendering web content.

Question 2

A) Bad visual design: If the button is poorly designed, it may be practically


invisible and users may find it challenging to tell it apart from the other
interface elements. This has to do with the visual hierarchy concept, which
states that elements should be arranged to convey their relative importance.
B) Lack of affordance: If an object is considered to have the ability to be
utilised in a specific way, it is called affordance, and if it is not clearly
provided, the button may also be effectively invisible. This has to do with

the affordance principle, which says that things should be made to imply
their possible uses.
