PATTERN NOTES & TIPS: p2tog/ p3tog = purl two together/ purl three together
. I generally cast on with Cable Cast On unless it’s casting on in the middle of a
RH/LH = right hand/ left hand RS/WS = right side/ wrong side
row then I use Backward Loop Cast-On method
st/ sts =stitch/ stitches
skpo = slip one stitch, knit next stitch, pass slipped stitch over knit stitch to decrease by one stitch
kfb = knit into front then into back of stitch to increase by one stitch
pfb = purl into front then knit into back of stitch to increase by one stitch
M1 = make one: with the right-hand needle point pick up the horizontal stitch that lies in-between two
knitted stitches, place this picked up stitch onto the tip of the left-hand needle and knit it to increase by
one
yo = bring yarn over the needle from back to front to make a stitch

I have also worked a ‘Face Squish’ between the forehead horns and between the eyes:
To make the basic face squish bend a length of yarn B in half and pass the cut ends
through a yarn sewing needle.
Pass the threaded needle through one side of the head, near the eye, and out at the other
side of the head, near the other eye, then back in to emerge back out near where you
started.
Pull up the yarn to squish the face a little and secure the thread.
Work a similar ‘face squish’ either side of the two horns.
NOTE: Don’t pull too tightly, it’s subtle shaping you’re after.
