I am pleased to inform you that the above Student's Pass application has been approved,
subject to the completion of all 3 steps in ANNEX A.

2 This letter is valid for six months or till the commencement date as indicated above,
whichever is later. It becomes void and the application is deemed withdrawn if the Student's
Pass is not collected within this period. Please ensure you have a valid stay in Singapore.
This In-Principle Approval letter and/or the successful booking of an e-Appointment does
not constitute a legal extension of your stay in Singapore.

3 ICA reserves the right to request for the submission of any other documents, including
original copies of documents that have already been submitted, after the collection of the
Student's Pass.

Visa for Singapore

4 A Visa has also been granted to you subject to paragraph 5 below. This letter serves as
evidence of the grant of the Visa. You must present a copy of this letter with your valid passport
at the Singapore Immigration Checkpoint for immigration clearance upon your arrival in
Singapore.

5 The Visa shall be cancelled if (a) you do not arrive in Singapore to collect the Student's Pass
within the period of validity of this letter as stated in paragraph 4; (b) you fail or are unable to
complete formalities required by ICA; or (c) the Student's Pass is not issued to you for any
reason. The Visa may also be cancelled by ICA on other grounds in accordance with the laws of
Singapore.

PART I - COMPLETION OF FORMALITIES FOR STP

A. You are required to complete all 3 Steps below within the validity of this IPA letter, failing which, this IPA will
be withdrawn. Please log in to the eService at https://eservices.ica.gov.sg/ipsolarplus/web/index to begin the
process.

B. Schedule An e-Appointment

You are required to complete formalities in person at ICA Office, 4th Storey, ICA Building. ICA will be
enrolling applicants’ iris images. To achieve quality and faster enrolment, you should not wear coloured,
patterned or cosmetic contact lenses. Please note that the Student's Pass will be issued no earlier than one
month from the course commencement date. THE COMPLETION OF FORMALITIES IS STRICTLY BY
APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please use our e-appointment facility at https://eservices.ica.gov.sg/ibook to
select your preferred date and time. To make an appointment you will need your FIN (M0032085K) and
e-Appointment ID: 558. On the date of appointment, proceed to the Self Service Ticketing Kiosk located
at Visitor Services Centre 4th Storey, ICA Building to obtain a queue ticket. You are advised to be punctual
for the appointment.

Before you make an appointment to complete STP formalities for issuance of STP, you will need to be
vaccinated* if you are aged 13 and above (based on year of birth). You will not be allowed to complete
formalities for issuance of STP if you are not vaccinated, i.e. your vaccination records are not found in the
Ministry of Health’s National Immunisation Registry.

If you cannot be vaccinated due to medical conditions, you will need to produce a Singapore doctor’s memo
stating these details:
- Medical condition
- Reason why you cannot take any COVID-19 vaccination, regards of the brand of vaccine used.

You can produce the doctor’s memo at the counter when you complete formalities.

C. On the day of appointment, please bring:


i. This letter and Para B as above, if applicable
ii. Your passport/travel document with a valid Visit Pass
iii. A duly completed Security Bond1 and a Security Deposit of S$ 5,000/= furnished by you, the
applicant, which will be forfeited if any of the conditions stated in the Security Bond is breached, in
the form of a Banker’s Guarantee from any bank in Singapore. You will need to raise with this
Department a Banker’s Guarantee according to the specimen copy1. The Banker’s Guarantee
should at least cover the duration of the Student's Pass plus four months.
iv. A passport-sized photograph (35mm wide by 45mm high):
a. taken within last 3 months;
b. in colour and must be taken against a white background with matt or semi-matter finish;
c. full face and without headgear (any headgear worn for religious or racial customs is acceptable
but must not hide the facial features)
d. Payment Proof for fees paid in Step 2 (for Off-site Enrolment only)

Important Note:
* Has received the appropriate regimen of WHO Emergency Use List (EUL) vaccines. Please refer to MOH’s
website for: (a) the latest list of vaccines approved for use in Singapore; and (b) the requirements if you are
vaccinated overseas.
This In-Principle Approval is given to you based on the information provided vide2 B7330B-202205-491471 for
which you have truthfully declared to be so or for which you had consented for a proxy to submit on your behalf
and is fully aware of the information so provided by your authorized proxy.

Closure of Kallang Walk


Kallang Walk is closed for construction works from 19 Nov 2020. Customers visiting the ICA Building can alight
at the pick-up/drop-off bay along Kallang Road. Customers are strongly encouraged to take public transport
when they visit ICA.
