Weekend Hire is charged at 1.5 x Daily Rate
Week Hire is charged at 3 x Daily Rate
Monthly Hire is charged at 10 x Daily Rate

We require a £50 security & booking deposit from you the first time you hire from us, which is refunded on
safe return of the equipment. Please note that photo ID is required for any hire.

LOW FOLD AUDIO LIMITED TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF HIRE.

1. For the purposes of these conditions, ‘The Customer’ shall be deemed to refer to any individual, company or partnership
who shall enter into any hire agreement with Low Fold Audio Limited which under the terms of English Law might be defined
as a contract.
2. All equipment remains the property of Low Fold Audio Limited.
3. Charges for Hire based upon the period of the contract irrespective of whether or not the equipment is in use.
4. Hire commences upon delivery to or collection by the customer and ceases upon return to Low Fold Audio Limited.
Equipment is not regarded as returned to Low Fold Audio Limited until it is checked and inspected by a member of staff
from Low Fold Audio Limited, and signed as such overleaf by the same member of Low Fold Audio Limited.
5. Equipment hired will be entirely at the Customers own risk during the hire period, and the Customer will be responsible for
any loss or damage thereto, howsoever arising. The Customer undertakes responsibility for insuring equipment against ‘all
risks’ to the full replacement value as listed overleaf. Any loss or damage to the equipment is to be reimbursed to Low Fold
Audio Limited by the Customer to the full replacement value thereof.
6. The Customer will be responsible for ensuring that any relevant regulations, rules or statutory provisions governing, or
relating to, the use of hired equipment are compiled with during the period of the hire and Low Fold Audio Limited in no way
assumes liability for the consequences of any non-compliance with any such regulations, rules or statutory provisions.
7. Equipment will be supplied to the Customer in normal working order. Low Fold Audio Limited’s liability for any defect, or
failure of the equipment hired is limited to the rectification of any defect or failure arising from normal usage.
8. The Customer undertakes to ensure that Low Fold Audio Limited’s equipment shall not be used for any purpose beyond its
capacity or in any manner likely to result in undue deterioration of the equipment.
9. Low Fold Audio Limited cannot be responsible for any injuries to personnel, or damage to property consequential to and
arising from any improper use of the equipment by the Customer or by any other person, whether or not authorised by the
Customer, during the period of the hire.
10. Equipment hired must not be altered by the Customer or modified in any way. In particular cables must not be cut, or plugs
and sockets removed or rewired by the Customer. Any equipment found to have been modified or in any way altered, and
any cables or plugs found to have been damaged by cutting or attempts at modification will be charged at full replacement
cost upon return.
11. Any damage to, or failure of, or defect in any hired equipment must be notified to Low Fold Audio Limited within 24 hours of
its occurrence and in writing within 72 hours of original notification. Without such notification the Customer will be charged
with the cost or repair or replacement.
12. The Customer will be responsible for advising Low Fold Audio Limited as to the location of the hires equipment during the
period of the hire, and of any changes in such location.
13. No equipment hired from Low Fold Audio Limited may be taken outside mainland Great Britain, without the prior written
consent of Low Fold Audio Limited.
14. It is an express condition of the hire that the customer shall not offer for the ire to any third party or parties any equipment
which is the property of Low Fold Audio Limited, without the written consent of Low Fold Audio Limited.
15. If agreed hire charges are not paid on the due date, Low Fold Audio Limited will reserve the right to repossess the hired
items and will not be liable for any damages or loss which may be suffered by the Customer as a consequence of such
repossession.
16. In the event of equipment ordered not being available for the hire through circumstances beyond the control of Low Fold
Audio Limited, Low Fold Audio Limited reserves the right to substitute equipment of similar quality for all or part of the
duration of the hire.
17. No information or data contained in any of Low Fold Audio Limited’s price lists shall be deemed to constitute any part of a
contract of hire.
18. Before issuing any equipment for hire, Low Fold Audio Limited may require a deposit from the Customer, which may be the
sum up to the full replacement cost of the equipment hired. Similarly Low Fold Audio Limited may, at its discretion, require
payment of the full charge in advance.
