1. Tugasan ini mengandungi SATU (1) soalan sahaja yang disediakan dalam bahasa modul bercetak
kursus ini. / This assignment contains only ONE (1) question that is set in the language of the printed
module for the course.

2. Jawab dalam Bahasa Melayu atau Bahasa Inggeris. / Answer in Malay or English.

3. Muatturunkan templet tugasan versi bahasa yang berkenaan daripada MyVLE untuk penyediaan dan
penyerahan tugasan anda. Tugasan anda hendaklah ditaip dengan menggunakan saiz fon 12 Times New
Roman dan langkau baris 1.5. / Download the language version of the assignment template concerned
from the MyVLE for preparation and submission of your assignment. Your assignment should be typed
using 12 point Times New Roman font and 1.5 line spacing.

4. Tugasan anda hendaklah antara 2500 hingga 3000 patah perkataan tidak termasuk rujukan. Bilangan
perkataan hendaklah ditunjukkan di hujung tugasan anda. Jangan menyalin soalan dan arahan tugasan

SOALAN TUGASAN /ASSIGNMENT QUESTION

SOALAN / QUESTION

The topic of Plan and Elevation requires learners to be able to visualize the projection onto planes
and the resulting images. Concrete material and hands-on activity would help learners grasp the
main concepts. As a teacher you plan to construct ONE set of suitable teaching aids, and prepare a
hands-on activity to reinforce students’ learning in this topic.

Being a supporter of recycling, you want to improvise the set of teaching aids with easily available
used material. Your teaching aid would consist of a composite shape made from three basic shapes
for use in the topic: cuboid (e.g. tissue box), cylinder, and cube. You may add in other suitable
supporting materials.

Suggest one activity how to use the composite shape you have made in teaching the topic of plan
and elevation. In about 300 words, write a brief explanation on how you are to conduct the
activity. Make sure that your activity is relevant and able to help students grasp the main concepts
in the topic.

Try out the activity using the teaching aid with a class OR a small group of students in your school.
Reflect in your own words (200 words), on the strengths and weaknesses of using the teaching aids
in the activity, and give suggestions for improvement.

You need to attach prove of the construction of the teaching aids and the ‘try-out’ activity carried
out in the form of visual representation such as a sequence of photographs, pictures, diagrams,
PowerPoint presentation, or video clips.
