    • You listened for his point of view, applied the scale to have a
    measurable understanding of context, you determined if his mindset
    and beliefs were negative or positive and then identified his emotional
    state when he responded.
    • You learned a simple non-verbal communication practice called Head
    nodding up and down to engage while listening to the client.
    • You then learned a meaningful transitional phrase to use that prevents
    misunderstanding and mistakes during the communication process.
    • Lastly, you learned the importance of practicing, asking for feedback
    and adjusting as needed.
