5. Section D has 2 questions carrying 5 marks each.
6. Section E has 2 case based questions of 4 marks each with subparts of 1, 1 and 2 marks respectively.
7. All questions are compulsory. However, an internal choice in 1 question of 2 marks,
1 question of 3 marks and 1 question of 5 marks has been provided. An internal choice has been
provided in the 2 marks questions of Section E.

(b) Mohan had 30 sweets, Uday had 40 sweets and Reeta had 70 sweets. Mohan distributed
15 sweets, Uday distributed 20 sweets and Reeta distributed 35 sweets respectively from
the sweets they had. What fraction of sweets did each distribute? Check if each had
distributed an equal fraction of sweets?

18. The following pictograph shows the number of different types of juice packs sold in a
restaurant on a particular day:

Based on the above information, answer the following questions:


(a) Which type of juice pack was sold maximum in number? (1)

(b) Which type of juice pack was sold minimum in number? (1)
(c) Find the total number of orange and pineapple juice packs sold. (2)
OR
(c) Find the difference in the sales of pomegranate juice packs and guava juice packs.
19. Seema has drawn a number line in her notebook. The points P, Q, R, S, T and U on the number
line are representing fractions.

Based on the above information, answer the following questions:


(a) Write the fraction represented by point S. (1)
(b) Write the fraction represented by point R. (1)
(c) Write the fraction represented by point U. Also write any one equivalent fraction of it. (2)
OR
(c) Write the fraction represented by point P. Also write its equivalent fraction with
denominator 16.
