Preface
The significance of the integration of blockchain, IoT, and AI in the fourth revolution driv-
ing the quality of life in the modern world has been recognized. The decentralized ledger
and ultra-secure immutability, self-sovereign identity, and consensus mechanisms in
blockchain along with AI algorithms, improve security. Moreover, interaction among users
over the internet may create a huge impact using a smart contract in blockchain, and the
integrated platform will likely to be revolutionary in many areas. Blockchain plays a sig-
nificant role in providing a secured platform with IoT devices and AI algorithms. This
book explores the concepts and techniques of blockchain, IoT, and AI. Also, the possibility
of applying blockchain for providing security in various domains is discussed. This book
highlights the application of integrated technologies in enhancing data models, better
insights and discovery, intelligent predictions, smarter finance, smart retail, global verifica-
tion, transparent governance, and innovative audit systems. This article will stimulate the
minds of the IT professionals, researchers, and academicians towards fourth revolution
technologies.

et me serrait si fort !
« Chéris-moi ! console-moi ! »
Georges Périer l’éloigna lentement, d’un geste tendre :
« Chérissez-le, Hélène ! consolez-le ! »
