PRACTICAL

1.Painting Composition: (i)Simple exercises of basic design in a variety of geometric


and rhythmic shapes in geometrical and decorative designs and colours to understand
designs as organised visual arrangements. (ii) Sketches from life and nature.
Pls, note: a minimum of four figures is compulsory and any medium of color can be
used in the composition.
2.Nature and Object: Study of three or four natural and geometric forms of pencil or
any medium of color with light and shade from a fixed point of view. Natural forms like
plants, vegetables, fruits, and flowers, etc., are to be used. Geometrical forms of objects
like cubes, cones, prisms, cylinders, and spheres are to be used.
