Thesis
Cyberbullying is the use of technology to harass, threaten, embarrass, or target
another person. Online threats and mean, aggressive, or rude texts, tweets, posts, or
messages all count. So does posting personal information, pictures, or videos
designed to hurt or embarrass someone else.
Cyberbullying also includes photos, messages, or pages that don't get taken down,
even after the person has been asked to do so. In other words, it's anything that gets
posted online and is meant to hurt, harass, or upset someone else.
Arguments
Firstly, Cyberbullying can lead to severe psychological consequences such as
anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem. Victims often feel isolated and helpless,
which can affect their overall mental well-being and even lead to suicidal thoughts.
Secondly, Cyberbullying can disrupt victims' academic performance and social
interactions, leading to decreased concentration, absenteeism, and withdrawal from
social activities. This can have long-term consequences on their personal and
professional lives.
Thirdly, In extreme cases, cyberbullying may escalate to physical violence or involve
illegal activities such as harassment, stalking, or sharing explicit content without
consent. This raises significant legal and safety concerns for both victims and
perpetrators.
