    The Impact of Addis Ababa Light Rail Transit on Public Transit System and Its

    Efficiency

    Introduction

    This proposal outlines a study aimed at evaluating the impact of the Addis Ababa Light Rail
    Transit (LRT) on the city’s public transit system and its overall efficiency. Launched as a
    transformative urban mobility initiative, the LRT aims to alleviate traffic congestion, reduce
    travel times, and provide a reliable mode of transportation for the growing population of Addis
    Ababa. Given the increasing urbanization and the pressing need for sustainable transportation

    Objectives
