CALL TO ORDER:
The session was called to order by the Presiding Officer Fatma T. Facundo at 9:00 A.M.

ROLL CALL:
On motion of SK Kagawad Herbert O. Buganotan, roll call was dispensed with and the
Presiding Officer declared a quorum.

FIRST READING AND REFFERAL OF PROPOSED MEASURES AND COMMUNICATION:

NONE

BUSINESS OF THE DAY:

Hon. SK Kag. Herbert O. Buganotan mentioned the upcoming Araw ng Barangay Caracol
Celebration and the SK Treasurer and SK Chairperson is required to disburse the budget for the
Celebration which will be taken from the allocated budget for Linggo ng Kabataan and Basketball
Tournament. The Breakdown of Expenses for the event is as follows:
Mutya ng Caracol Package-------------------------------- P47,000.00
Jersey and SK uniform--------------------------------------P19,900.00
Sound System and Foam Party Package---------------P44,100.00
Cash advance for Araw ng Caracol----------------------P43,000.00
Cash Advance for Basketball Tournament------------P39,000.00
TOTAL--------------------------------------------------------P193,000.00
 The SK council has approved Resolution No. 3 s. 2023; RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SK
CHAIRPERSON AND SK TREASURER TO DISBURSE AN AMOUNT OF ONE HUNDRED NINETY-THREE
THOUSAND PESOS (P193,000.00) AS BUDGET OF THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN FOR ARAW NG
CARACOL/LINGGO NG KABATAAN CELEBRATION.
After rigid deliberation, the SK Council of Barangay Caracol, Salug, Zamboanga Del Norte
agreed to the meeting in motion with Herbert O. Buganotan and seconded by Zarah Nasraine
Olama.

ADJOURNMENT:
Since there were no other matters to be discussed or to be taken up, the session was
adjourned at exactly 12 PM on motion of Presiding Officer Fatma T. Facundo and duly seconded by
SK Kagawad Zarah Nasraine Olama.

Resolution No. 3 Series of 2023

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SK CHAIRPERSON AND SK TREASURER TO DISBURSE AN

AMOUNT OF ONE HUNDRED NINETY-THREE THOUSAND PESOS (P193,000.00) AS BUDGET
OF THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN FOR ARAW NG CARACOL/LINGGO NG KABATAAN
CELEBRATION.

WHEREAS, Article 2 Section 12 of the 1987 Philippine Constitution states that “the State recognizes
the vital role of the youth in the nation-building and shall promote and protect their physical,
moral, spiritual, intellectual and social well-being. It shall inculcate in the youth patriotism and
nationalism and encourage their involvement in public and civic affairs”.

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Caracol, Salug prepares the Annual Budget 2023
allocated for Linggo ng Kabataan Celebration.
WHEREAS, the celebration will be held on the Barangay Anniversary Celebration every 1 st-3rd day of
March.

WHEREAS, The SK council has approved Resolution No. 3 s. 2023; RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE
SK CHAIRPERSON AND SK TREASURER TO DISBURSE AN AMOUNT OF ONE HUNDRED NINETY-
THREE THOUSAND PESOS (P193,000.00) AS BUDGET OF THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN FOR
ARAW NG CARACOL/LINGGO NG KABATAAN CELEBRATION.

NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved as it is hereby resolved upon the unanimous presented, it was;

RESOLVED FURTHER, that a copy of this resolution be furnished to the Office of the Punong
Barangay, Office of the Local Youth Development Office, Office of the Sangguniang Kabataan
Federation, and other concerned, for their information.

I hereby certify to the correctness of the foregoing Resolution

which was duly adopted by the Sangguniang Kabataan
on its Regular Session on February 5, 2023.

PROJECT DESIGN
Particulars (PPA): Annual Dues for SK Federation
Project Cost: ₱ 12,000.00
Beneficiaries: Municipal SK Federation

Rationale:
The Araw ng Salug Celebration is an event where one of its purpose is for the youth to
actively engage in different activities and socialize that will help improve their social health.

Objectives:
To encourage youth to participate actively in sports and games and etc.

Methodology:
The SK Caracol will pay a contribution of six thousand pesos to SK Federation Treasurer.
Budgetary Requirements:

2021 ₱ 4,000.00

2022 ₱ 4,000.00

GRAND TOTAL ₱ 12,000.00

Expected Output/Outcome:

The youth of Barangay Caracol will have good time in participating in the activities and will
be able to meet new friends along the way.
