Customisable, Extensible, Compatible
DADiSP allows you to create your own analysis functions with SPL and DADiSP Macros, build your own analysis programs with DADiSP Worksheets, run your favourite external programs from the DADiSP environment, and set up your own standard procedures through DADiSP scripts. You can create your own pop-up menus with the DADiSP Pop-up Menu Toolkit; and you can set up a ready-to-run application so that others can handle routine tasks for you. Engineers and OEMs can integrate DADiSP with their own or other hardware and software using ActiveX and SPL. The Windows version of DADiSP supports ActiveX as a client or server, allowing bi-directional exchange of ASCII or binary data, and DADiSP graphs to be inserted into any ActiveX aware application such as Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Word. DADiSP works together with Excel to offer seamless integration and data exchange, so that scientists and engineers can transfer collected data from their Excel spreadsheets into DADiSP to take advantage of its superior analysis and graphic features. DADiSP functions as a full ActiveX Document Server. DADiSP Worksheets can be embedded, manipulated, saved and printed by any ActiveX Container application such as MS Excel or MS Word. A C/C++ like programming language, SPL (Series Programming Language), is designed to address the special needs, routines, and customisation of the engineer, programmer, or OEM. SPL provides all the standard programming facilities including user-defined functions, looping and iteration, conditional statements, array references and variables.
