    Sprint 231 is a single-phase three-element smart meter with


    three separate measuring elements for independent recording
    of multiple loads, such as general domestic, solar, hot water or
    electric vehicle charging (EV). Its field-replaceable
    communications module enhances flexibility, and makes the
    utility's investment future-proof.
    The meter supports firmware upgrade, allowing metering and
    communications features, functionality to be updated in the
    field. Sprint 231 meters are 'fit for purpose' for all contestable
    metering installations. This enhances flexibility and makes the
    investment future-proof. The meters can be used for individual
    domestic or small commercial applications, offering value for
    money with reduced Capex and inventory. The Sprint 231 smart
    meter forms part of the Secure's liberty online smart metering
