• Yarn Gazzal Baby Cotton (60% cotton/ 40% acrylic, 50 g/ 165 m (1,76 oz/180 yd)) -
beige (3445), dark beige (3424), white (3410), red (3439), dark brown (3436), brown
(3455), turquoise (3451), light green (3457)

• Dark brown thread for embroidery the eyebrows and eyelashes, dark turquoise thread
for embroidery the eyes, just a little thin yellow and red embroidery thread for stripes on
socks
• Crochet hook 2 mm, and 1,3 mm crochet hook for a leaf
• Fiberfill
• Scissors
• Wooden stick (for filling with fiber some small pieces)
• 2 small buttons
• Sewing needle
• Pins
• Glue gun
- Soft or oil pastel for tinting the cheeks and knees

To make the strands more straight, you can gently steam them.

Mark with pins two points on the 18th round, leaving 9 sts apart.

Embroider the eyes with dark turquoise thread, making 4-5 stitches. Then embroider
the eyelashes with dark brown thread.
Embroider the eyebrows between the 15th and 16th rounds leaving 7 sts apart with
thin dark brown thread. The width of the eyebrow is 2 sc.

Sew on the ears between the 18th and 21th rounds, at a distance of 8 sc from the eye.

Sew on the nose between the 18th and 21th rounds.


Tint the cheeks.
For this, take soft or oil pastel of red-brown color and a small soft brush.
Take just a little bit of pastel on the tip of the brush (like paint) and very carefully, with
light touches, apply the color to the cheeks.

HANDS
(crochet right hand with beige yarn, left hand
with beige and dark beige)

exactly above the finger, and inc are exactly at the back side of

Unravel some stitches, if you need, so the beginning of rounds


will be exactly at the back side of the hand (I unraveled 1 sc).

Change the yarn to white.

r23 - 10 sc (work in the back loops of the 22st round (white
yarn) and in both loops of the 21th round (beige yarn)
r24-25 (2 rounds) - 10 sc
Stuff the hand up to about the 22nd round.

Work 1-2 shift stitches so the beginning of rounds will be


exactly at the back side of the hand.
Now fold the piece in half and crochet 4 sc through two
layers.

Cut the thread and fasten off, leaving a small tail.

Left hand
r1 - 6 sc into the MR

After the 9th round, change the yarn to dark beige.

exactly above the finger, and inc are exactly at the back side
of the hand

r18-21 (4 rounds) - 10 sc

Work some shift stitches, so the beginning of rounds will be


exactly at the back side of the hand (I crocheted 3 sc).

Change the yarn to white.

r22 - 10 sl st
r23 - 10 sc (work in the back loops of the 22st round (white
yarn) and in both loops of the 21th round (beige yarn).
r24 - 10 sc
r25 - crochet the round not to the end, stop exactly above the
finger (I crocheted 7 sc).

Stuff the hand up to about the 22nd round.

Now fold the piece in half and crochet 4 sc through two


layers.

Cut the thread and fasten off, leaving a small tail.


LEGS
(make 2 legs, start to crochet with brown yarn)

Make 7 ch, then start crocheting from the second ch from


the hook:

r1 - 1 inc, 4 sc, 4 sc in 1 st, 4 sc, 1 inc (16)


r2 - 2 inc, 4 sc, 4 inc, 4 sc, 2 inc (24)
r3 - *1 sc, 1 inc* x 2, 4 sc, *1 sc, 1 inc* x 4, 4 sc, *1 sc, 1 inc* x

* Don't cut the brown thread. Leave it in front of your


work (as shown in the picture).
With this thread we will crochet the sole.

Change the yarn to dark brown.

r4 - 32 sc (in back loops only)


r5-7 (3 rounds) - 32 sc

Now we are going to crochet the sole. For this, use the
brown thread that we left in front. Work 32 sl st into front
loops of the round 3.
Flip the leg over as shown in the picture.
Cut and fasten off the thread. Hide the ends using a needle. - leave the thread in
front of your work.
Continue to crochet the leg with dark brown yarn.
Make sure that the dec are exactly in front of the leg.

r8 - 8 sc, *1 sc, 1 dec* x 6, 6 sc (26)


r9 - 8 sc, 6 dec, 6 sc (20)

* Don't cut the dark brown thread. Leave it in front of


your work.
With this thread we will crochet along the edge of the
boots. - crochet the sole.

Change the yarn to white.

r10 - 1 dec, 6 sc, 3 dec, 4 sc, 1 dec (15) - in back loops only
r11 - *3 sc, 1 dec* x 3 (12)
r12-15 (4 rounds) - 12 sc
r16 - 1 sc, 1 inc, 10 sc (13)

Start stuffing the leg, then stuff as you go.


Now we are going to crochet along the boots. For this, use
the dark brown thread that we left in front. Work 20 sc into
front loops of the round 9.
Flip the leg over as shown in the picture.
Cut and fasten off the thread. Hide the ends using a needle.

* Don't cut the white thread. Leave it in front of your work.


With this thread we will crochet along the edge of the socks.

Change the yarn to beige on the left leg, and to dark beige
on the right.

r17 - 13 sc (in back loops only)


r18 - 1 inc, 12 sc (14)
r19-20 (2 rounds) - 14 sc
r21 - 7 sc, 2 inc, 5 sc (16) - make sure that inc are exactly at
the front side of the leg
r22 - 16 sc
r23 - 8 sc, 2 dec, 4 sc (14) - make sure that dec are exactly at
the front side of the leg

Change yarn to beige on the right leg, and on the left leg
continue with beige yarn.

r24 - 14 sc

r26-29 (4 rounds) - 15 sc

Now we are going to crochet along the edge of the socks.


For this, use the white thread that we left in front. Work 13 sl
st into front loops of the round 16.
Flip the leg over as shown in the picture.
Cut and fasten off the thread. Hide the ends using a needle.

Continue to crochet the leg.

Change the yarn to red.

r30 - 15 sc

Cut the thread, leaving a long tail about 60-70 cm long.


Put the leg aside.
Now we are going to crochet the pants. For this, use the red
yarn.

Make 15 ch, then join in a circle with 1 sl st. Crochet the pants
in rounds.

r1 - *4 sc, 1 inc* x 3 (18)


r2 - 18 sc
r3 - *5 sc, 1 inc* x 3 (21)
r4-6 (3 rounds) - 21 sc
Cut the thread and close the loop with a needle (as shown in
the picture).

Insert the needle under the loop, stepping back 2 st to the left.

Then insert the needle into the back loop of the last sc with
which the row ended. Tighten the thread, hide the end using a
needle.

Continue to crochet the leg.

Put the pants over the leg as shown in the picture.


Pull the thread through the pants and continue to crochet
with this thread.

r31 - 15 sc (both through pants and leg)

Stuff the leg till the round 28 approximately.

Work 1-2 shift stitches, if needed, so the beginning of rounds


will be exactly on the side of the leg.

Now fold the piece in half and crochet 7 sc through two


layers.

Cut the thread and fasten off, leaving a small tail.


SHOE CLASP
(crochet with dark brown yarn)

Make 10 ch, then crochet 8 hdc from the 3rd ch from the hook.
Cut the thread and fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Sew the clasp to the shoes.

Embroider stripes on socks. For this, use a thin yellow and red thread.
LEAF
(crochet with green yarn)

Divide the yarn into two parts and take a thin one. Use crochet hook 1,3 mm.

Make 6 ch, then crochet from the 2nd ch from the hook - 1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 inc dc, 1 hdc, 3 sc
in 1 st, 1 hdc, 1 inc dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc.

Cut the thread and fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Sew the leaf to the leg above the sock.


BODY
(start to crochet with red yarn)

Make 16 ch, then start crocheting from the second ch from


the hook:

r1 - 1 inc, 13 sc, 4 sc in 1 st, 13 sc, 1 inc (34)


r2 - 2 inc, 13 sc, 4 inc, 13 sc, 2 inc (42)
r3 - 42 sc

In the next round we will attach the legs.

r4 - 2 sc, 7 sc (both through leg and body), 3 sc, 7 sc (both

r5-10 (6 rounds) - 42 sc

* Don't cut the red thread. Leave it in front of your work.


With this thread we will crochet along the top of the pants.

Change the yarn to white.

r11 - 42 sc (in back loops only)

Start stuffing the body.

Now we are going to crochet along the top of the pants.


For this, use the red thread that we left in front. Work 42
sc into front loops of the round 10.
Flip the body over as shown in the picture.

Cut and fasten off the thread. Hide the ends using a needle.

Continue to crochet the body.


In the next round we will attach the hands.

Make sure that the hands are located exactly on the sides
of the body. Crochet shift stitches if needed.

r24 - 4 sc (both through hand and body), 8 sc, 4 sc (both


through hand and body), 8 sc (24)
r25 - *2 sc, 1 dec* x 6 (18)

Stuff the body firmly.

* Don't cut the white thread. Leave it in front of your work.


With this thread we will crochet along the shirt collar.

Change the yarn to dark beige.

Next we will crochet the neck.


Crochet and stuff the neck tightly, this is important!

r26 - *1 sc, 1 dec* x 6 (12) - in back loops only


r27-33 (7 rounds) - 12 sc

Stuff the neck tightly.

r34 - 6 dec (6)

Cut the thread and fasten off.


Close the remaining hole using a needle. Insert the needle
under front loops only and pull the opening closed. Then
insert it into the center and weave in end.

Now we are going to crochet along the shirt collar. For this, use the white thread that
we left in front. Work 18 sc into front loops of the round 25.

Cut and fasten off the thread. Hide the thread ends using a needle.
Sew the head to the body.

Take a long thread and sew through the middle of the neck across.

Pull the thread out of the needle, connect both ends of the thread and insert it back
into the needle.

Then insert the needle into the hole from the bottom of the head and bring it out at the
top of the head.

Insert the neck into the head and tighten the thread.

Pull one end of the thread out of the needle. Insert the needle 1 stitch to the side.
Make 2-3 knots and hide the ends of the thread inside on different sides.

Congratulations! Now the toy can turn its head to the side.
Attaching hair to the head.

Fix the hair on the head with a pin, as shown in the picture. The center of the 1st
round of hair should match the center of the first round of the head.

Fix the top of the hair with pins at the back.

Make sure that the bangs are located exactly in front. Slightly lift the hair in front
and apply hot glue to the top of the hair, then gently press the hair to the head.

Lift the back of the hair a little and apply hot glue to the top of the hair, then gently
press the hair to the head.

Fix strands at the back through one - 2nd, 4th, 6th and so on down, 1st, 3rd, 5th and
so on from above.

Glue the front strands near the face one at a time, starting from the ears.
Glue the bangs a little going to the side strands of hair.

Now glue the back strands - first even, then odd.


Sew 2 buttons on the front of the pants, about 8 stitches apart.

PANT STRAP
(crochet with brown yarn)

Make the chain the length you need for the strap and buttonhole. Try on the
buttonhole for your button.

Then, skip a few stitches of the buttonhole and crochet hdc along the chain.

For example, I got it like this:

Make 40 ch, then skip 7 stitches from the hook and make 33 hdc along the chain.
Cut and fasten off the thread, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Sew the straps to the back of the pants at a distance of about 8 stitches.
