Date: November 22, 2024

In November 22, 2024 I wake up in the morning to take shower. And before I take shower I eat my meal so as not to starve. after I finished eating and showering, I walked to school. And when I arrived at school around 6:00 am, my classmates and our car were already on their way to Victoria, Minsu Main Campus to attend the inter-collegiate congress on business and tourism called in other word (ICBT). And right at 6:30 am we left school to go to the Minsu main campus of course before we got there we traveled for over an hour and during the flight it started to rain heavily so my classmates thought of requesting the vodatco driver to sing. And while on the trip, I don't know what to do because it's my first time to attend such an event, so I'm nervous, I'm happy because there's a lot to learn where we're going, and I'm excited because it's my first time to go to the main campus of Minsu.and when we arrived at the minsu main, we were greeted by the usherettes and attended to us and we were joined by other classmates inside the event center and the others went around outside first.

After a few minutes, they all entered the den because the event was about to start. Ma'am Liezel made the opening remarks.after the opening remarks and message, someone gave the intermission number from minsu main campus. When the intermission number ended, one of the resource speakers, Dr. Brylle Nikon's topic is the future of travel booking. Dr. Brylle Nicon Apduhan, CEO/President of Extreme Business Solution CO, delivered an inspiring speech at 10:07 AM, emphasizing the importance of determination and resilience in achieving success. He emphasized that success is achievable through hard work and perseverance, and that if given a good life, one can create their own. His message resonated with aspiring entrepreneurs and students. His key message, "DREAM BIG," stood out as the most impactful take away. And when he finished, he asked all of us who were there to answer two questions and passed them to him to read one by one. And he was given an awarding of certificate by minsu main campus because of what he taught us and because he is a resource speaker. When the awarding ended, there was an intermission that we watched from the main campus. When the intermission number ended, we students took a break to eat first. Because it was break time, we made the most of the time to go out and wander around the school's main campus because it was our first time to come here. Al.nd when we got back to the event center, the next speaker, Sir Don Stepherson Calda, started again and his topic was about LGU'S LEGAL ROLE. The event began with an announcement of the winner of a Dunkin' umbrella and a Jollibee gift worth 100 pesos before the second speaker took the stage. Sir Don Stepherson Calda, the second speaker, delivered a session that highlighted the hidden treasures of Oriental Mindoro, a region often overshadowed by more well-known destinations like Puerto Galera. He emphasized that many tourists today are seeking peaceful, less crowded places to relax, rather than popular tourist spots. To further illustrate his point, Sir Calda presented a video showcasing the lesser-known attractions of the region, offering a glimpse of the rich natural beauty that is often overlooked. His session concluded at 2:20 PM, after which the forum commenced at 2:45 PM, followed by the awarding of certificates. He discussed the roles in tourism: The legal

The tourism development objectives aim to reinvent Oriental Mindoro tourism in 2027, establish a strong position in the Philippine domestic tourism market, and enhance the capacity of local tourism offices.  And when Sir Don Stepherson Calda was finished, he was given a Certification because of what he taught us and when the awarding was finished, there was another intermission from the minsu main campus and they sang. And the last speaker at that event was called and spoke about what he was going to teach us. The last Speaker's name is Ms Joana Paola Gutierrez. She spoke about the transformative impact of emerging technologies on the travel industry. She focused on how technologies are reshaping the way people explore destinations, plan trips, and how travel bloggers are incorporating these trends into their content. Ms. Gutierrez emphasized the advantages of using technology to create engaging vlogs and travel content, noting that while these tools make life easier, it's important to use them responsibly and within limits. Her session started at 3:08 PM, and after her talk, another round of certificate awarding took place at 3:12 PM, marking the conclusion of the event.  After the awarding of certificate the raffle draw continued with a prizes of grocery package, electric fan and the grand prize brand new cellphone. Everyone was thrilled who got the grand prize, congratulations to winners. The last speaker finished, just like the first one, he was given an award of certificate because of what he taught us all. And for the closing remarks led by the icbt executive chairperson, Sir, Jenard Mayupao, he ended the event and thanked many of those who came. And after that, we all went out and waited for the pick-up and when our pick-up arrived, we went on our journey and everyone got home safely and learned a lot.
