Star Product:
The star are business unit or products with high market shares. Generate huge cash
because of higher relative market share. Samsung TVs are the star product of
Samsung as they have high market share and market growth.
Cash Cow:
These are the products that have low market growth and large market share.
Samsung’s home appliances, refrigerators, and washing machines are examples of
cash cow in Samsung BCG matrix.
Question Mark:
Samsung’s laptops fall under the question mark. There is low market share for
Samsung’s laptops, but if managed effectively, they can generate a wider share
within its market.
Dogs:
Printers are categorized as dogs. They have low market share and low market
growth. Difficult to make profit.
Mission Statement:
Ours is the “small” company with BIG plans and GREAT ambitions
While there are some claiming that they are the best in town, we don’t claim that
