3. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION:

Irritating to eyes and skin. Harmful: danger of serious damage to health by prolonged
exposure if swallowed. Very toxic to aquatic organisms, may cause long-term adverse
effects in the aquatic environment.

4. FIRST AID MEASURES:

GENERAL: Contact physician if discomfort continues.

INHALATION: Remove victim immediately from source of exposure. Provide rest, warmth and fresh
air.
INGESTION: DO NOT induce vomiting. Get medical attention immediately.

SKIN: Wash off promptly and flush contaminated skin with water. Promptly remove clothing if
soaked through and flush skin with water. Get medical attention if any discomfort
continues.
EYES: Promptly wash eyes with plenty of water while lifting the eye lids. Continue to rinse for
at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention immediately. Continue to rinse.

EXTINGUISHING MEDIA: Carbon dioxide (CO2). Foam. Water spray, fog or mist.

SPECIAL FIRE FIGHTING If risk of water pollution occurs, notify appropriate authorities. Dike and collect

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES:

PERSONAL PRECAUTION IN SPILL: Wear suitable protective clothing and gloves.

PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT Use appropriate containment to prevent spills entering drains or water courses.

SPILL CLEANUP METHODS: Stop leak if possible without risk. Absorb in vermiculite, dry sand or earth and place into
containers. Inform Authorities if large amounts are involved. Dike far ahead of larger
spills for later disposal.

then disposed to landfill.
DISPOSAL METHODS: Absorb in vermiculite or dry sand, dispose in licensed special waste. Dispose of waste /
empty containers by incineration under controlled conditions. Dispose of in accordance
with Local Authority requirements.
