The course has a theoretical and practical framework, based on Petri net models, for exploring event driven dynamics. This framework encompasses both untimed and timed Petri nets, the usage of the key concepts and results being illustrated by problems with analytical or computer-aided solutions.For computational approaches, the software environment Petri Net Toolbox was used.
