The document discusses the potential for robots to replace human jobs, highlighting that while robots may take over dangerous or simple tasks, they cannot replace jobs requiring empathy and human decision-making, such as those of psychologists. It contrasts images of robots and humans working in factories, noting their similarities and differences. Will robots replace humans?
Today I would like to talk about will robots replace humans?
Firs I would like to talk about what I see in the pictures In the first picture I see group of advanced robots working in a factory. They seem advanced and capable of replacing human work. The second picture is opposite of the first one because in this image a human is working, not robots. A factory where a man works seems dependent on the person. Now I would like to talk about the similarities and differences between these pictures. These two pictures are similar because a robot and human is working in the same place. This place is factory. Another similarity is that they complete the tasks assigned to them ant try to do it as accurately as possible. Now I want to talk about differences. I found one. So, one of the most obvious difference between these two pictures is that who does the work. In the first photo a robot is doing the work, in second photo a person is doing the work. Now I want to talk about jobs that could be done by robots in the future. In the future it is believed that robots can replace humans’ jobs. Robots can replace those human jobs that are dangerous for them, like working in mines, nuclear power plants or simple jobs like sweeping leaves in parks or to pick up trash on the streets. But in my opinion, robots will not replace those jobs where you need to express emotions or make human decisions. I don’t think psychologists can be replaced by robots, they don’t have a sense of empathy, jobs that require emotion cannot be replaced by robots. And the last what I want to talk is my opinion about science fiction books and movies give a realistic description of the world controlled by robots and artificial intelligence. Science fiction books and movies often depict world ruled by robots and artificial intelligence. I think authors and film directors sometimes exaggerate that it is possible to have such world ruled only by robots. Sure I think robots can replace some human jobs, but certainly not all. It can also be as an example from the previous question, could be a robot psychologist who does not have a sense of empathy. In my opinion authors are exaggerating by depicting such world, witch probably will not become like this. In conclusion robots can replace some jobs, but not those that require empathy. It is important to maintain balance between technology and human values.
