Auto Backup System (Set your own Auto backup folder) :

The auto backup features now automatically backup the data of multiple companies at a specific location.
Image/ Logo Printing:

The Print capability is now enhanced to print logos in the reports generated from Tally.ERP 9 Release . The company logo can be printed in the document which is going to customers or third party.
Trusted Remote Access:

Tally.ERP9 Release provides Remote capability to its users to access data from anywhere by using Tally.NET Features.
Job work In and Out:

This feature consciously designed to support business exception handling, each business houses or each transaction of business houses follow different processes based on the requirement.
Banking:
A new Banking module has been introduced in Tally.ERP9 Release , to simplify overall Banking experience.
Bill settlement from Outstanding:

An option to settle the selected bill(s) from the selected Outstanding Report for a selected party (Debtor/Creditor) has been provided.
Pre-closure of orders:
Tally.ERP9 has now provided an option to Pre-close the Sales/Purchase Orders.
Receipts & Payments Report:

A new report Receipt and Payment Account has been introduced for the non-revenue organizations and NGOs which relay on Income and Expenses Summery.
Cash Flow Projection Statement:

Cash Flow Projection is an integral part of the financial section of all business plans, literally describing how cash is projected to flow in and out of a business.
Tally in Arabic:
The Multi-lingual capability of Tally.ERP9 Release is enhanced to support bi-directional or bidi languages that are read and written from right to left.
Item Cost Tracking:

The Item Cost Tracking is provided to track the overall cost incurred and the profit earned for a specific Stock Item.
Multiple Addresses for Company and Ledger Masters:

Many Organizations maintain a single ledger for parties having multiple branch offices/Locations so that the transactions of such parties are available in consolidation for easy operations. Similarly, Organizations having multiple locations and branches want to use the mailing details of the required branches/locations in their invoices and reports.
Sales and Purchase Data export for Pivot Table:

Tally.ERP9 Release now supports the export of sales and purchase registers in the required format which can be readily used to extract all required information and reports using Pivot Tables.
Jobs and Recruitment:

An enhancement to assess knowledge and recruit the people is made available in the control centre. This facility allows the organization or a user to publish the recruitments, search for the right candidate
and assess knowledge on Tally.ERP 9 by coming the required topics followed by recruiting the most suitable employee.
Export to PDF and Image (JPEG) formats:

Tally.ERP9 now supports the Export/E-mail of reports in JPEG(image)file and PDF formats.
Ledger Running Balances:

The option Shoe running Balance in F12: Configuration has been provided to display the Cumulative balance for ledger voucher reports.
Opening BRS:
The Bank Reconciliation Statement screen now provides detailed information with regards to transaction types, instrument no., instrument date, favoring name etc. The user can also provide Opening BRS for Un-reconciled transactions.
Cheque Printing:
The user can choose to print Cheques in Tally.ERP 9 Release at the time of making payment to creditors/parties during Voucher Entry i.e., directly from the payment vouchers and Inter-Bank payment or transfers through Contra Vouchers.
Keyword Search filter with Reducing List/Table:

The feature allows the user to search a text from any part of the name which appears in the list/table. The List in the table keeps reducing to display only those names which contain the search criteria.
Stock Query from the Invoice or Order screen:

While preparing Invoice or Seles/Purchase Order, The stock query report provides complete information pertaining to a particular stock item viz., Alias, Part no., Stock Group, Stock category, available closing quantity & Balance, Cost Price, Costing method and Market Valuation and so on.
Automated Salary Information File(SIF) and Reports for UAE Payroll:

A new report to generate the Salary Information System (SIF) for UAE is provided. The output file is generated as per the Wage Protection System (WPS) in UAE
Multiple Bill OF Material:

Tally.ERP 9 Release has enhanced the BoM (Bill of Material) feature for stock items. User can now create Multiple BoM with deferent component list for a stock item and use the appropriate BOM in the Manufacturing Journal voucher.
Print before Save can be restricted using Security Control:

Restrict the Print, E-mail, Export and Upload of a selected voucher type before they are saved. This new Security Control disallows a security level from printing, exporting, emailing and uploading a Voucher before it is saved even in alteration mode.
Tally Audit(Data Audit)for Masters and vouchers:

Tally Audit features is enhanced with new reports to display Voucher Type wise, User wise and Masters, list of unaccepted vouchers for Audit for a specific period . It provides a dashboard displaying statistics on number of vouchers created or altered and also allows drill down facility for audit/verification purposes.
Index Printing for Multi Account Printing: Index page has been provided while printing All ledger accounts/All Items and Group of Accounts/ Group of items for Multi Account Printing. Data verification Report for Splitting:
A new report has been provided under Data Splitting menu which displays the possible errors that may occur while splitting the Company Data.
