SSG Aden is an outstanding Paratrooper and seasoned NCO with three combat tours behind him. While assignd to Charlie Troop, he has held many positions, including Armorer, Asistant Team Leader, Team Leader, and Mortar Squad Leader, to name jrst a few. His knowledge of every weapons system in our arms room and the ability touse that knowledge under extreme pressure has set the highest of standards.
SSG Aden utilized his skills as an 18B Special Forces Weapons Sergeant to spearhead the trainup
systems in the Platoon including

M2 .50cal, M240B, M249,M9, M4 carbine, and the M1200 shotgun. Hetrained 1007o of assigned Paratroopers to qualiff expert on theMortar Gunners Skills Test, and he successfully conpleted the challenging Infartry Mortar Leaders
Course. He is an extremely motivated individual whotakes the initiative and getsthe mission accomplished.
While assigned to Charlie Troop, SSG Aden was responsible for the logistical maintenance and accountability of over $500,000 dollars worth of equipment including one Ml l 14 HMMWV and all organic Mortarequipment. He served as FDC Check computer during the recent Mortar certification, with a shong emphasis placed on safety which resulted in noviolations. His tactical knowledge has been instrumental to the Charlie Troop Mortar Section, and he has proren himself time and time again. While assigned to Charlie Troop, SSG Aden has devoted over 1500 hours of his personal time into thefoundation of two non profit organizations for homelessveterans in the states of Ohio and Arkansas. His willingness to get involved inside of these communities and champion the rights ofthe economicallydepressed and socially disadvantaged, has been noticed bythe media as well as local and state elected officials. His outgoing personality and his willingness toserve should be a modd for all to follow.
