What is a wifi..??
Wi-Fi is an abbreviation for wirelessfidelity known as 802.11 wireless network. Wi-Fi Wireless Technology that uses radio frequency to transmit data through the air. Wi-Fi is a generic term that refers to the IEEE 802.11 communications standard for Wireless Local Area Networks (WLANs) .
What is a wifi..??
Wi-Fi Network connect computers to each other ,to the internet and to the wired network.
IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) established the 802.11 Group in1990. inventing this network they named it as wifi.
What is a wifi..??
Initial speed of wifi networks was approx. 1 and 2 mbps. It got improvised ever since the IEEE started upgrading this system since 1999 and many other standards were included which consisted 802.11a ,802.11b,802.11g.

Security issues.
Wireless technology doesnt remove any old security issues, but introduces new ones Eavesdropping Man-in-the-middle attacks Denial of Service . There is a greater exposure to risk factors involving outdoor bodies to cause loss or duplication of data items.
Security issues
Infrastructure/design.
Option 1 Provide patron access using a totally separate network Infrastructure. Option 2 Use the existing corporate network, with additional equipment to provide access to patrons while securing internal network. Option 3 Use the existing corporate network, with same equipment to provide access to patrons while securing internal network.
Physical placement.
Active Ethernet powers access points over the Ethernet connection. Access Points should be mounted in an open space to optimize the signal strength, so no closets. Larger locations may require multiple access points to provide good coverage.
