1. When the teacher says Go mix around the room. 2. When the teacher calls Pair pair up with the person closest to you. (Raise your hand to find a partner.) 3.Listen to the question and use the think time. 4.Share with your partner using:
A topic or question (you may need to write your answer individually before doing Numbered Heads Together).
To use a team voice. To know your number. 1. When the teacher says Go, stand up and put your heads together to discuss your answer. 2. Make sure other teams dont hear you!
3.Sit down when you are sure that everyone on your team knows the answer.
4. Teacher selects a random team and a random number.
1. Whoever has the paper says and writes the first response. 2.Pass to your partner, who says and writes the next response. 3.Keep passing, saying and writing.

If youre stuck or need to ask a question: Make an honest attempt to solve the problem yourself. Quietly put your hand up.

2. Put your hand up (no shy arms!)
3. When the teacher says Pair, pair up with someone whos not on your team, but keep your hand up till you find a partner.
4.Listen carefully for the next instruction.
1. You can only talk when you put a Talking Chip on the table.
2. When you have used both Talking Chips, you must wait quietly until everyone else has used all of their Talking Chips. 3. When all chips are used, pick them up again and go back to step one.
