Conclusion
1.Solid waste management is complex; it is essential to
explore the full extent and range of activities taking place in
order to understand the processes and systems which are
operating;
2.In projects for improving local solid waste management a
clear understanding of the processes, with an appreciation
of who is benefiting and in what way, is necessary in order
to carry out stakeholder analysis
3.Perceptions are all important, and the report recommends
paying particular attention to the roles of municipal
councilors, municipal sweepers and citizens during
stakeholder analysis for local waste management projects.
