    SIMPLE PRESENT

    For: he, she and it we add us “s”, “es”or “ies” to the verb.
    We add us “s” to the verbs in most cases : work- works, live-lives ,etc.
    But +es after-s, -sh,-ch, o or –x, we add us “es”:pass-passes, wash- washes, finish- finishes, go- goes mix- mixes
    c+c-y- ies, we change us“y” by “i” and add us “es”study- studies, but v+c -y- s: play- plays
    AFFIRMATIVE SUBJECT+VERB in base form+ “S”, “ES” OR “IES” + COMPLEMENT
    1 She works everyday. 2 She washes everyday. 3 She studies everydy.
    FORM
    For: I, we, you and they we don’t add us “s”, “es”or “ies” to the verb.
    SUBJECT+VERB in base form + COMLEMENT
    1 I work everyday. 2 I wash everyday. 3 I study everyday.

    HE/SHE/IT+DOES NOT OR DOESN’T+ VERB in base form+ COMPLEMENT


    NEGATIVE
    1 She does not or doesn’t work everyday.
    FORM I/YOU/WE/THEY DO NOT OR DON’T+ VERB in base form+ COMPLEMENT
    1 I do not or don´t work everyday.

    DO I/WE/YOU/THEY+VERB in base form+ COMPLEMENT+?

    1 Do you work everyday? Yes, I do. No I do not. No, I don’t. (Yes no question)
    INTERROGATIVE 2 Where do you work? I work in a hospital. (WH question)
    FORM DOES HE/SHE/IT+ VERB in base form+ COMPLEMENT+?
    1 Does she work everyday? Yes, she does. No, she does not. No, she doesn’t. (Yes no question)

    2 Where does she work? She works in a hospital. (WH question)


    HAS AND HAVE

    HE/SHE/IT+HAS+COMPLEMENT
    She has class everyday.

    AFFIRMATIVE
    FORM
