PROBLEM DIAGNOSIS
Family country hotel and convention centre is at
now at risk of declination stage due to its failure to
cope up with modernization, reestablishments,
refurbishments and renovation. It is one of the
oldest hotel in our city but because of its lack of
improvements of its establishment, it is now slowly
being left behind from the limelight of business
hotels industry.

ALTERNATIVE ANALY SIS
Family country hotel is one of the oldest hotels here in General Santos City. The hotel is
primarily open for seminars and conferences providing room accommodations for tired
participants who are away from their home. Due to its long run in the industry, surpassing
many years of service, Family country hotel has to cope up with the modern standards of
hotels’ services so that it would continue to serve and welcome Generals in the future.

Renovation for the whole establishments, Expansion and improvement of the area,
Modernization of equipments and facilities, Additional manpower and training for
employees, Opening a side businesses inside the hotel, and Opening a new and updated
promotional programs such as website and social media pages would helped the Hotel to be
stable and remain competitive among rising 5 star hotels in the city.
RECOMMENDATIONS
SHORT TERM

 Open a souvenir shop inside the hotel to help increase


income buy selling souvenirs to the guest.

 Additional manpower and trainings to the staffs to improve


the services

 Modernization for equipments and facilities

 Renovation for the whole establishments would open for a


positive possibility for renewal to the guest’s interest to the old
hotel.
