Introduction
 Apple Inc. - an American multinational corporation. It designs,
manufactures and sells mobile communication and media devices,
personal computers and portable digital music players.
 The founder of Apple are Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald
Wayne in April 1976.
 The chief executive officer (CEO) of Apple Inc. is Tim Cook.
 Apple has an organizational culture for innovation.

including creativity and a way of thinking that challenges conventions and
standards

Problems faced by Apple
 Slow growth rate
• Management put high expectation on the new model of Iphone 6 and 6 plus.
• However, the sales do not meet the expected result.
 Do not involve in corporate social responsibility (CSR)
• Steve Jobs does not interested involve in CSR activities,
• Innovate outstanding products with environmental care, but do not show these transparently.

 Changes of leader and the styles


• Steve Jobs - strong vision, willing to take risk, and focus on the performance.
• Tim Cook – give control, discipline and orderly.
 Unethical actions
• Unethical employment condition, workers paid in little but worked in long hours.
• The cases came into global attention when the workers suicided.

employees to spend 30 minutes a day for work meditation to relieve stress.
