Security- Camp
Important ​
In the event of Security / Emergency each Driver must be able
to implement the general Safety polices at work and fallow up

Responsibility ​
We approach the actions and responsibilities in difference tasks , they a
change according to the costumer's policies but within the same
standard.

PROCEDURES
 Before operating a vehicle, they must have a valid professional
driving license and medical certificate. Must be verified by Company

Speed Limits
The maximum permitted speed will vary between different
areas of the site. Always pay attention and respect road signs.

Life Saving Rules –
Vehicle Operations
Driver ALWAYS Shall:
 Wear a seat belt.
 Wear the Correct PPE in designated
areas. When outside the vehicle
 Obey the speed limits.
 Not use mobile phone/ radio
equipment while vehicle is in motion
 Follow the vehicle escort whilst on site.
 Obey instructions.
 Not leave truck/ vehicle unless
instructed too.

Securing Load Before Entering
• Ensure correctly secured the load before
moving
• Ensure that load/ cargo is correctly
distributed.
• Ensure correct load restraints are used.
Including Tarpaulins for sand/ dirt movements
• Correct tie-down ratings and anchor points
used
• After vehicle movement start, re-check load
for shifting/ movement.
• Inspect vehicle for oil leaks / damaged
products leaking prior to entry into the site.

Delivery Driver
Rules
 Driver will be directed to a safe position/ location clear of the loading/ unloading
area.
 Do not perform any work other than securing/ un-securing the load.
 Do not enter any other work areas whilst onsite.

• Do not drive under suspended load / be aware of


overhead services and height restrictions
• Keep a safe distance behind Heavy Machinery or
other vehicles.
• Respect pedestrian access’s and crossing points.

If unsure STOP and seek clarification

• Only access/ egress the flatbed or


trailer using trailer safety fixed ladder
or provided and secured in place.

• Do not access the flatbed of the trailer


above 1.5m. Without fall prevention
measures such as guard rails or
unloading platforms in place.

• Do not climb onto any of the material


that is being delivered.

Environmental Emergency- Spills

• In case of fuel or oil spill, contact


the escort immediately and
report to the Company
Operations Manager

• Immediate actions will be taken


in order to control situation.

• No maintenance or servicing of
vehicles will be done anywhere
onsite without authorisation or
Supervision.

• If you feel you are not in a good conditions to drive, report
immediately the company will send immediately another

Unwell, Faint, tiredness, double vision.
• Be sure your vehicle is in good conditions
• Respect traffic laws.

Delivery Driver- Requirements

• Entry to Site SHALL be Denied for Following Reasons


Intoxicated.
Refusal or failure of breathalyser.
Incorrect PPE.
Unsafe Load.
Unsafe Truck.
Refusal to Allow Security Checks of vehicle.
No Identification.
Past misbehaving or HSSE Infringements.
Unsafe or dangerous driving or behaviour.

COVID
Controls
 Deliveries to the Afugi Project site are considered as non Covid-19
Controls a will required additional precautions to be exercised by the
transport company, the driver and the organization receiving the delivery:
 Non Covid- 19 Controlled drivers are NOT to directly interact with
site personnel and remain a minimum distance of 2m apart.
 Delivery drivers shall always wear hand and respiratory protection.
 Covid-19 controlled personnel shall NOT sign delivery dockets or take
possession of any delivery manifests. (These should be forwarded
electronically to the organization receiving the delivery).
 The delivery driver shall be responsible for the release of the load
restraints and then relocate themselves to a safe area as directed by the
unloading crew.
 Delivery drivers required to enter a BIBO controlled area or utilize welfare
facilities due to extended unloading times shall comply with established
controls for BIBO workers.
