What is the importance
of using a hyperlink in a
document?
A hyperlink is a connection
between an element in a
hypertext document such as
word, phrase, symbol or
image o a script.
Two basic parts of
Hyperlink:

URL and the


display text

key and click on the
hyperlink
***To remove a
Master up hyperlink, right-click the
hyperlink and select

the menu that appears.

TEST your hyperlink. If you have linked to a website, your web browser should
automatically open and display the site. If it doesn’t work, check the hyperlink
address for misspellings.

MAIL MERGE
 Mail Merge allows to to quickly send information, newsletter, resume’
or brochure to many people
 Allows you to produce multiple letters, labels, envelopes, name tags
and more using information stored in a list, database, or
spreadsheet.

How to create:

1. Create a new document


or open an existing Word
document.
2. Go to Mailings tab, click
the Start Mail Merge
command and select Step
by Step Mail Wizard.

email.
3.At the bottom of your email, create a hyperlink
that links to an email address. Use your own
email address and send to
[email protected]
