HOW IS A NORMAL DAY FOR
-hand-cartoon.png YOU?
a normal day in training practices:
I usually get up at 10 am because my practices are in the afternoon; this gives me
time to bathe; I get dressed and then have lunch, I leave my house at 11:30 am; I go
on my bicycle to the Kennedy hospital because it is 15 minutes from my house, the
entry time is at 12: 00pm, in the service I must always take vital signs from all
patients and review the medical history, in the nursing round I must inquire about the
signs and symptoms of the patients to record it in the folder of the day, at the same
time that I carry out the investigation, I must also carry out the cephalocaudal
physical examination of each patient in the area; Once the nursing round is over, I
start to administer medications at 1 pm according to the recommendations of the
specialist doctors, in the hospitalization area there are sometimes pending laboratories
and I must take them and then wait for the laboratory report, once everything is over
It is difficult for me to sit at my desk to carry out the planning of patient care and the
planning for the education of the patients, and at the end of my work day I make the
interconsultations to the different treatment areas such as nephrology, psychology,
internist, I go on duty to 7 pm and I go home and arrive more or less 7:20 pm, I eat
anything for dinner and go to sleep for the next day of practice

YOU?
PAST SIMPLE
I remember that when I was in training practices at Kennedy Hospital:
I usually got up at 10 am because my practices were in the afternoon; I remember that
it gave me time to bathe; Get dressed and then have lunch, I used to leave my house at
11:30 am; I used to ride my bike to the Kennedy hospital because it was 15 minutes
from my house, the admission time requested to be at 12: 00pm, In the service I always
took the vital signs of all the patients and reviewed the medical history, in the nursing
round I had to inquire about the signs and symptoms of the patients to register it in the
folder that day, at the same time that I carried out the Inquiry, I also performed the
cephalocaudal physical examination on each patient in the area; Once I finished the
nursing round, I began to administer medications at 1 pm according to the
recommendations of the specialist doctors, in the hospitalization area there used to be
laboratories pending and I had to take them and then wait for the laboratory report,
once After all the difficult things, I sat at my desk to carry out the planning of patient
care and the planning for the education for the patients, and at the end of my working
day I made the interconsultations to the different treatment areas such as nephrology,
psychology, internist, and then I would go on shift at 7 pm and go home and arrive
around 7:20 pm, I used to have anything for dinner and went to bed for the next day of
practice
