OLYMPICS
• There will be three (3) components on this
competition namely: Easy round, Average round
and Difficult round. There will be a clincher
round in case of tie in the top three.
• The Easy round has ten (10) question worth 1
point each, the Average round has seven (7)
questions worth 3 points, and the final round has
five (5) questions worth 5 points.
• The question will be read by the quizmaster twice.
• Only after the first (1st) reading the pupils shall be
allowed to write solutions. In case the pupil violates
this rule, he/she shall not be allowed to answer the
question. Warning will be given only twice.
• Students will write their answer on the paper given to
them before each question. FINAL ANSWERS MUST
BE ENCIRCLED.
• The time limits for each round are as follows:
• EASY round – 10 seconds
• AVERAGE round – 30 seconds
• DIFFICULT round – 60 seconds
• CLINCHER round – 60 seconds
• After the time-limit, the time-keeper will ring the bell.
Each pupil must stop writing and must raise their pens.
Papers will be collected.
• In case there are questions, the panel of adjudicators shall
be ready to verify the answer. Protest must be done before
the next question is read.
