NTRODUCTION:
Education entails learning new things and expanding one's depth of knowledge.
It is one of the most important factors in a person's life that makes them conquer
almost all of the challenges in life but covid 19 has been a big threat in the field of
education. The COVID-19 pandemic has become a modern-day threat to
mankind. This pandemic successfully forced the global shutdown of many
operations, including educational activities, resulting in massive crisis-
response transfer of educational institutions, with online learning functioning
as the educational medium. Though traditional learning is different from online
learning There are still many similarities existing between them. The main purpose
of this study is to know and be aware of how the transition from Traditional Learning
to Online Learning positively and negatively affects the academic performance of
students. to know if online studies are doable and can be useful in the future as an
alternate option for education.

3.) Do students find it difficult to cope up with the new method of learning?

Research Locale
This research is conduct at the Smarties Academy of Sta. Maria Bulacan. R.
Mercado St. Poblacion, Sta. Maria Bulacan

Significance of the study
.
Students. The result of this study will be a big help to the students because they will determine
benefits of e-learning.
Teacher. The result of this study will be a big help also to the teachers because they will determine the
effectiveness of learning through online.
Principal. The outcome of the study will provide background on the strategy to be recommended to the
teachers.
Parents. The result of the study will inform the parents regarding the performance of their child.
Future Researchers. The information from this study may give insight to the new educational system.
Environment. As e-learning is a paperless way of learning, it protects the environment to a lot of
extent.
Community – on the proliferation and entry of covid 19 into the world. Online learning helps and avoid
physical contact to each other and keeping young people at home that results to reduces the likelihood
of infection and spread of covid 19.

RESEARCH PARADIGM

Research design
Descriptive research will aim to accurately and systematically describe a
population, situation or phenomenon. It will answer what, where, when and
how questions, but not why questions. It is applied to case studies, naturalistic
observations, surveys, and so on. This is a theory-based design.
So I will use the descriptive research design method due to the fact that it is
an appropriate choice when the research aim is to identify characteristics,
frequencies, trends, and categories. It is useful when not much is known yet
about the topic or problem. This method includes data collection, analysis, and
presentation.
Sampling design
.
Convenience sampling is defined as a method adopted by

researcher where i will collect market research data from a
conveniently available pool of respondents. It is the most
commonly used sampling technique as its incredibly prompt,
uncomplicated, and economical. In many cases, members are
readily approachable to be a part of the sample. By using this
technique, the researcher can observe habits, opinions, and
viewpoints in the easiest possible manner.

DATA GATHERING
The researcher will conduct a survey using the
platform ‘Google Forms’. Necessary permission was
secured from the school. After the permit was granted, the
researcher will start giving away survey questionnaires.
The researcher made sure that the data and information
collected from the survey will be confidential and secured.

Ethical consideration
Consent from the respondent and to the school will be taken and
appropriate permission will also be ensured for usage of their given data.
Confidentially of the responses will be maintained strictly to ensure privacy
of their data. Beyond the fact that from the primary and secondary data,
only the usage of secondary data will be acknowledge with appropriate
reference. Some data also in the research proposal are taken from the
books, newspaper and literary works of others, so the researcher will gave
their credits at the end of the taken data from their works. This ethical
aspect will be followed very strictly in this research.
