The Cabinet of Malaysia
• The executive branch of Malaysia’s government. Led by the Prime Minister, the cabinet is a council of ministers
who are accountable collectively to the Parliament.

ROLES OF YDPA
o Appoint a prime minister & to refuse a
prime minister’s request to dissolve the
Parliament.
o The YDPA can call a meeting with the
Conference of Rulers concerned solely
with the privileges, position, honours, &
dignities of Rulers.
o Has a significant rule in appointing an
attorney general & judges based on the
advice of the prime minister.

Bicameralism
• A bicameralism legislature divides the legislators into two separate assembles, chambers or house. Bicameralism
is distinguished from uncomeralism, in which all members deliberate & vote as a single group & from some
legislatures that have three or more separate assemblies, chambers or house.
