WIRELESS SWITCH CIRCUIT

ISHWAR CHAND 2k19/CO/171

JATIN POPLI 2k19/CO/171
OBJECTIVE –
To make a circuit which responds when you slide
hand in front of the circuit, the device will be turned
ON if it is off and vica versa.

APPLICATIONS –
1.Key-operated switches
2.Foot switches
3. Door handle switches
4. Mechanical limit
switches
CONCEPT
The main principle of this Wireless Switch Circuit is in the
functioning of LDR, Op-Amp and JK Flip-Flop IC -

LDR : Decreases resistance with respect to receiving luminosity (light) on

the component's sensitive surface.

Op Amp :  It consists of two inputs, namely inverting and non inverting

terminals.

JK Flip – Flop IC : IC is used to alter the signal by providing control input from one or
more input and get output at one or more output terminal
Steps to accomplish the objective
1. To build a model and perform the online
simulation.
2. Collection of breadboard, Operational amplifier,
Led bulb, light decreasing diode, Jk flip-flop ic,
connecting wires, transistor.
3. Connecting all the components according to
model.
4. Testing and performing on the final made
project.
APPARTUS FOR SIMULATION

5V Relay
CD4027 – 1 LM741 – 1 Resistors LDR LED Lamp
Module

10KΩ – 3

33KΩ – 1

1KΩ – 1
STEPS -
1. connect a voltage divider (using either two resistors or a potentiometer)
to the Inverting terminal (Pin 2) of the Op-Amp LM741
2. Connect the combination of LDR and a resistor (which again form a
voltage divider) to the Non-Inverting terminal (Pin 3) of the Op-Amp
3. Place an independent LED (with current limiting resistor) in from of the
LDR so that the light from LED will always fall on the LDR
4. Connect the output (Pin 6) of the Op-Amp to the clock (Pin 13) of the
Flip-Flop IC CD4027. The output of the Flip-Flop (Pin 15) is connected to
the Relay Input of the 5V Relay Module
5. connect the J (Pin 10) and K (Pin 11) Pins of CD4027 to +5V and Set (Pin
9) and Reset (Pin 12) to GND
